Spontaneous

“The unmerited, spontaneous goodness of God is back of all and underneath all His Acts.” A.W. Tozer

Thankful For: God’s Spontaneous Gestures

I am so grateful for the spontaneous gestures of our AWE-GOD! He is amazing! I love and am so grateful for His mysterious ways. I am very, very thankful that His Kingdom Purposes are always in play in my life, as He is continuously working out His best. I am grateful for the refreshment of my soul that comes when God suddenly and abundantly (because that is His way) blesses me in a way that I at times, can’t even wrap my mind around. I can see Him smile at the pleasure and joy He brings me in the surprise of His Ways, as He is and does things that only HE can in that special way of HIS! AWE-GOD! Yes, I love that spontaneous abundance of our AWE-GOD. I love that God is so mysterious and when He suddenly blesses you in ways only He can, it is too sweet!!

Thankful For: God’s Spontaneous Purposes

I love and am so grateful for the spontaneous ways Your purposes are in play in my life during our times of rambling hand in hand through life situations that I have no clue of what You are doing, but I know that You are working out little bits of life for my good and fitting them together for the best endgame You could possibly deliver for me.

Thankful For: God’s Spontaneous Creativity

I am so grateful for the spontaneous, creative use of my time when I surrender to You the all of it. It is just crazy wonderful how You, Lord, use my time in spontaneous-creative ways I would never have thought of and how it results in time beautifully used for Your Kingdom purpose. The more willess I become, yielding to You, the more spontaneously You begin using my time in such a wise and incredible creativity. Spontaneous actions is something I never would have believed would end with such a great outcome of less time used for more Kingdom glory gained.

Thankful For: God’s Spontaneous Nature

I am so grateful to You, Holy Spirit that You spontaneously lead me off on bunny trails and as I let go of my administrative gifting and follow after You, I have some of the greatest writing adventures ever. My schedule blocks me and Your spontaneously creative nature sets me free in new fresh revelation, thoughts I had not even thought of before. I am grateful for the spontaneous nature of the Holy Spirit.

Thankful For: Spontaneous God Adventures

I am more thankful than ever that God has pushed me out of my traditional mundane things in my relationship with Him. I have learned more and grown more in the past few years because I said yes to an adventurous God. He pushed me so hard to step out of my comfort zone. I was so uncomfortable with spontaneous. That is why my thankfulness overflows today, because God did not leave me there. He has totally shaken up my life. I was stuck in what I called planned spontaneity. There is no such thing, but it was deceptive enough to trick me. I thought I was spontaneous, but God has a sense of humor and He laughed at my “kicking and screaming” exit out of administrative living. I was in charge of everything that happens and controlling things that did not need to be controlled, and He plopped me into a spontaneous time zone. I am gratefully knowing creative God adventure and doing a new thing this life season I am in. Thank God, He never gives up on us.

Thankful For: God’s Spontaneous Kindness

I am especially grateful for the spontaneous acts of kindness that God does for me, thankful that they just happen upon my life suddenly and they have no attached conditions. It is a sweet, relational building thing that God does and I love it. I love being loved by Him in this spontaneous, unexpected way. His kindness is always sweet but when it is motivated by spontaneity instead of by my expectation, it is even sweeter. Spontaneous acts of kindness are always powerful, because they are undeserved and create an open-heartedness in those that receive them. There is no better position to be in than open-heartedness, this is when God can do His best work in us.

“By faith stop doing something each week or month that has passed its prime time. Be patient to not rush and fill a gap in your calendar with crowded appointments. Blocks of discretionary time give you availability for spontaneous service. Yes, take a step back from the myopic trees bunched together, so you can see the imaginative forest of faith. Anyone can be busy, some can be productive, but few walk by faith and watch God do more. So, stop doing good to do better.” Author~Boyd Bailey
