The Void Filled
We were created for God, we were created for fellowship with Who He created. We were created for vital-vertical relationship with God, heart to heart with Him. We also were created for horizontal relationship with God’s people, not just on the surface, but God was hoping we would make it personal, real, genuine, and do life together. Without God, without people there is a huge void in our lives. The enemy of our soul created loneliness to fill the void that we create by our lack of real relationship with God and His people. Could loneliness at times be all about us, our choice for the easy way out and the safe way to stay in our comfort zone.
Soul Pain Like No Other
Loneliness is a terrible soul pain, there is no ache quite like it. If you have it in your soul, you can relate to the reality of this truth. Loneliness was designed to corrupt our soul with a degrading influence. Loneliness is quite the stank in our soul, it walls us in with what we see as no escape as our enemy puts up thought barriers like these: I have no one. I am always alone. No one chooses me. No one pursues a relationship with me. No one loves me. I am all alone. These thought processes leave us more alone than when the feeling of loneliness first set in.
Proverbs 4:23-26 Above all else, watch over your heart; diligently guard it because from a sincere and pure heart come the good and noble things of life. Do away with any talk that twists and distorts the truth; have nothing to do with any verbal trickery. Keep your head up, your eyes straight ahead, and your focus fixed on what is in front of you. Take care you don’t stray from the straight path, the way of truth, and you will safely reach the end of your road. The Voice
Don’t Underestimate Your Enemy
Loneliness is craftily schemed to lead us to despair. Loneliness doesn’t travel alone, its companions of discouragement, disappointment, disillusionment, displeasure and discontentment terrorize our mind with bullying thought patterns, deceitfully stalking us with a nonstop devaluing of our identity in Christ. It is the enemies plan to captivate our mind with loneliness, steal our peace, kill our joy and destroy our hope. We can’t underestimate our enemy’s ability to do this, we must guard our hearts from even cracking the door open to negative, discontented and complaining thoughts. The issues of our life, flow from our heart. When the enemy gains a stronghold of deceit in our mind through feelings of loneliness, he then will mesmerize our soul with despair and change up the attitude of our heart in that way which effects our behavior in a negative way.
Psalm 25:16 Turn to me and have mercy on me, because I am lonely and hurting.
Subtle Deceit ~ Be Watchful
The enemy uses the feelings of loneliness, the false narrative of loneliness in our minds to distract our focus, from God’s way, truth and life, to ourselves, our lack and our pain. The enemy’s ways a subtle and He runs negative thoughts through our mind and if we don’t take these thoughts captive by God’s Word and cast them out, they rut our thoughts into a pathway for the enemy to be able to establish and sustain a stronghold in our mind. Call out to Jesus,
1 Corinthians 10:13 The Way of Escape~We all experience times of testing, which is normal for every human being. But God will be faithful to you. He will screen and filter the severity, nature, and timing of every test or trial you face so that you can bear it. And each test is an opportunity to trust him more, for along with every trial God has provided for you a way of escape that will bring you out of it victoriously. TPT
God With Us ~ Always
We are tempted over and over to believe the lies of the enemy of our soul, our minds get so weary as we entertain all the guests that come in with him. Doubt, Fear, Anxiety take up all the seats in our mind. We must fight and take back our mind from the enemy, turn and fully face God and kick out all the deceivers, raising up a standard of truth. Lie number one debunked: God is with us, we are not alone, ever, God will never leave us, never forsake us. Turn away from your feelings and turn to God, fully face God and shake yourself free from the grip of evil. Trust God in this life season, He is able to write His victory in your life story.
Acts 3:16 And on the basis of faith in His name, it is the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect health and complete wholeness in your presence. Amplified Bible
Our Enemy Is Subject To God
The devil is the father of lies, don’t buy into his foolishness that you are alone. The devil knows God is omnipresent and no one is alone. The devil has power, but he has no power higher than himself, and he is not the administrator of his power, God is, he is subjugated to God. When the devil comes into our mind with all kinds of his nonsense about loneliness, resist him, with the Word and remind him about his lonely future ahead. Use the name of Jesus against the enemy. The name of Jesus simply-significantly has unlimited potential and possibility as a spiritual warfare weapon.
Psalm 68:5-6 To the fatherless he is a father. To the widow he is a champion friend. To the lonely he gives a family. To the prisoners he leads into prosperity until they sing for joy. This is our Holy God in his Holy Place! The Passion Translation
