Who Is Your Teacher?

Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by through Me.
John 14:6

Who is your teacher? Who are you listening to most today? Who are you gleaning from? Who is teaching you? This would be the person you lend your ear, heart, soul and spirit to the most today. Who will it be? Who will you lean your learning life into today?

Jesus, Sanctify Us In Your Truth, Your WORD Is Truth.
John 17:17

“When a man answers, he answers a person who has been speaking to him. Who, then, had spoken to Christ? His Father. Yet there is no record of it; and this should teach us that Jesus had constant fellowship with his Father, and that God spake into his heart so often, so continually, that it was not a circumstance singular enough to be recorded.” Quote By: Charles Spurgeon

Jesus Is Our Teacher

For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me. John 17:8

And then Jesus began to pray: Jesus: I praise You, Father—Lord of heaven and earth. You have revealed Your truths to the lowly and the ignorant, the children and the crippled, the lame and the mute. You have hidden wisdom from those who pride themselves on being so wise and learned. The Voice Matthew 11:25

“It was the habit and life of Jesus to talk with God. Even as Jesus was, in this world, so are we; let us therefore learn the lesson which this simple statement concerning him teaches us. May we likewise have silent fellowship with the Father, so that often we may answer him, and though the world wotteth not to whom we speak, may we be responding to that secret voice unheard of any other ear, which our own ear, opened by the Spirit of God, recognizes with joy.” Author~Charles Spurgeon

The Words From Our Teacher, Jesus Are Like A Kiss From Our Heavenly Father! Listen To Them:

Prayer: Teach Us Lord

Teach me your way, LORD, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. Psalm 86:11 NIV

Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long. Psalm 25:5

Send out your light and your truth; let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy hill and to your dwelling! Psalm 43:3

Do have the kind of faith that will climb out of the boat, out of your comfort zone to where Jesus is? When you are going through tough times and God says: “Step Out, I Am Here”, do you listen to the enemy telling you what a really bad choice that is and why or do you listen to God and His Voice of truth? Lord teach us Your way, help us to rely on You, help us not to be divided in heart by unbelief and belief. Help us learn not to listen to the enemy who tells us we will never win, help us to listen to the Voice of God’s Truth and walk courageously with Him. Help us to be led by God’s Truth and Light only! Let it be so! AMEN!

“Knowing what the Bible says about truth and hiding God’s word in our heart helps us to know when we are listening to the Voice of Truth.” Quote By ~ Pamela Williams

More Of God’s Teaching Is Less Of Us

Sometimes we just want to run as far as we can to get away from all the noise of our culture where everyone is telling you how you should live and what you should and should not do. We want to run from our routines and traditions and all the things that are so mundane and finite trying! A lot of times we long to disappear, to get out of the rat race for cultural titles and positions and find our way to the purpose flow of God, were real life is happening. The best way for us to disappear is in Christ. Sometimes we care way too much about earthly things and get so caught up in the falsity and temporary, instead of letting the Holy Spirit lead us through Truth and teach us the way of His Kingdom. It is good to hide our lives with God’s way, truth and life because this is when our true purpose becomes so clear to us. Jesus is our teacher, the Holy Spirit is our teacher, the Father God is our teacher and we need to hide our lives in our Triune God, so all that is our human condition disappears and God’s life becomes so very evident in us.

Dig Deeper – Learn Most!

Less of me is more of Jesus and I want the human reaction to disappear and the Godly response to always be so in my life. Less of my human condition reacting and more of a Godly response! Jesus, help us to disappear in your Truth, listening to YOU first, so our lives can bring you glory. You are our Teacher, help us to hide in Your Ways, Life, Truth, so our finite disappears, our human condition becomes less and YOU become more clear to those around us! Jesus! Let It Be So! More of YOUR character responding, less of our human condition reacting.

Selah! Pause And Think On This:

The Spirit of God testifies to and confirms the simple, but almighty, security of the life that “is hidden with Christ in God. Every time you are in personal contact with Jesus, His words are real to you. “My peace I give to you…” (John 14:27)— a peace which brings an unconstrained confidence and covers you completely, from the top of your head to the soles of your feet. “…your life is hidden with Christ in God,” and the peace of Jesus Christ that cannot be disturbed has been imparted to you. Author~Oswald Chambers

I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Galatians 2:20 Amplified Bible

“Avoid trivial pursuits. You are a child of God, destined for glory, and called to do great things in His Name. Do not waste your life on hobbies, sports, and other recreational pursuits. Do not throw away the precious moments of your life on entertainment, movies, and video games. Though some of these things can properly have a ‘small place’ in the Christian’s life, we must be careful not to give undue attention to temporal and fruitless activities. Do not waste your life. Employ the time of your youth in developing the character and skills necessary to be a useful servant of God.” Author ― Paul David Washer

Set Your Life In Christ And His Kingdom

Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory. Colossians 3: 2-4

“Always, everywhere God is present, and always He seeks to discover Himself to each one” Author― A.W. Tozer

Lord Jesus, most of our emptiness and restlessness comes because we are not wholly-holy Yours, and you are not our teacher, we are being taught by our worldly culture more than we are being found in You. Lord renew us, renew our commitment to You, our Teacher and help us to learn and grow in Your Will and Ways.
