Encompassed

Just as the mountains around Jerusalem embrace her, the Eternal, too, wraps around those who belong to Him—for this moment and for every moment to come.           Psalm 125:2 The Voice

Our Lord is great. Nothing is impossible with His overwhelming power. He is loving, compassionate, and wise beyond all measure. Psalm 147:5 The Voice

No Doubt About It

There is one thing for sure or as I like to say, “no doubt about it” and that is God’s Power does not fail and He will direct us with His wisdom as we wait on Him, He will guide us step by step with an incredible knowledge that has no margin of error. God is unchangeable towards our family in the way that His amazing love will always be for us, be moving us forward in a good way. God’s Sovereign will is always going to play out in a win-win situation for us and bring us a gain that will be good for our family. The Lord encompasses our family with all of His possibility.

He is like a tree planted by water, sending out its roots beside the stream. It does not fear the heat or even drought. Its leaves stay green and its fruit is dependable, no matter what it faces. Jeremiah 17:8 The Voice

The All Of Our Everything

The cool thing is, we are never really outside of God’s Presence, He is in the all and the everything of our family life. God is in, for and all-encompassing our family with kingdom purpose, provision and protection. We praise our all-encompassing God, and thank Him for being the ALL in our everything. We recognize that without Him, we can do nothing that simply-significantly-eternally matters. The best grip our family will ever have is to cling to God and dig our life roots deeply in His Kingdom, this insures that our family will leave a living legacy, an everlasting mark upon this earth.

Your majesty and glorious splendor have captivated me; I will meditate on Your wonders, sing songs of Your worth. We confess—there is nothing greater than You, God, nothing mightier than Your awesome works. I will tell of Your greatness as long as I have breath. Psalm 145:5-6 The Voice

Heart Felt Obedience

We are blessed in our family lives with the unchangeable and faithful love of God that encompasses our family life and captivates us heart to heart. Putting God at the center of our family life assures us that our family members will be positioned in such a way that our relationship with God causes us to experience an enthrallment of His love, soul saturated. We as a family in this generation, a family born for a time such as this, need to become captivated by the love of God so much so that it permeates even the very obedience to Him. Why is this so important for our family? Simply-Significantly heart felt obedience truly pleases the heart of God. Not especially because He likes being obeyed, He does, but more importantly because obedience leads to the unleashed purposes of God at play in our lives and this always ends well for our family.

So Samuel told him what the Lord had said. “It is the Lord’s will,” Eli replied; “let him do what he thinks best.” 1 Samuel 3:17 TLB

Spiritual Maturity

Obeying God out of a love relationship with Him develops an incredible trust between Him and our family and when this trust is flowing, our family can really “grow” quickly in Him, maturity speeds up when trust is alive and well in a family and spiritual growth happens in that way you can’t even begin to imagine or hope for. When we obey out of love, instead of out of law or duty, this is such an incredible, functional healthy obedience and it brings a strong wholeness to our family life.

Remember: you’re a people set apart for the Eternal your God; He is your God and has chosen you to be His own possession—His special people—out of all the peoples on the earth. One of the most important ways faith is communicated is from parent to child. Most people who do find a lifelong faith come into it by the time they are young adults, and the most significant influence on them is what they’ve seen modeled at home. Stories and experiences are a compelling influence on the faith of children. Deuteronomy 7:6 The Voice And Commentary

Growing Through

As a family, we must learn to see God in everything, realizing that we are encompassed by Him at all time. We have different seasons in our family life, many times our families are “growing through” stressful times, we are enduring long periods of time where there is no change for the better for us, but we know we are compassed about by God. We are His possession and we are in the flow of His power and purposes at all times, in every situation we face. He is in control of the outcome and He is the only solution for every problem we are working out.

“See God in everything, and God will calm and color all that you see. It may be that the circumstances of our sorrows will not be removed, their condition will remain unchanged, but if Christ, as Lord and Master of our life, is brought into our grief and gloom, ‘HE will compass us about with songs of deliverance.'” Streams In The Desert By L.B. Cowman

Healthy Family Life

The best thing our family can do to have a healthy family life, with relationships that are whole and functional, is to develop the spiritual habit of seeing God in everything. He is in everything, but sometimes we have a tendency to lean into our human condition that likes to compartmentalize God out of certain places and we take control of those places. God wants us as a family to be wholly-holy His and we need to strive as a family to have an undivided heart and bring God into the all and everything of our family life.

“And those who are wise—the people of God—shall shine as brightly as the sun’s brilliance, and those who turn many to righteousness will glitter like stars forever. Daniel 12:3 Living Bible

It is true that the family structure is breaking down in our nation and that will only cause this great nation to tumble. God is beckoning families to come to Him, whole family units, praying together, living and loving God first and in this vital-vertical relationship with God, the family structure of our nation will endure until the end. It is time for the families of this nation to shine in the unity of Christ and step out and be all that He has designed our families to be in that special way He has gifted families.

Who gives intuition to the heart and instinct to the mind? Job 38:36 NLT

Cut Cultural Chains

Unloose the cultural chains around your family and break down the compartments in your family life and become wholly-holy Gods. Let go of control and let God shape your family, let Him encompass your family by the power of His Holy Spirit. Lord God captivate the hearts of our families in this nation, we are Yours, Your chosen ones.

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, God’s own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light 1 Peter 2:9 Amplified Bible

O Lord our God, the majesty and glory of your name fills all the earth and overflows the heavens. Psalm 8:1 TLB
