Operation Prayer Encouragement
This is My command: be strong and courageous. Never be afraid or discouraged because I am your God, the Eternal One, and I will remain with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 The Voice
Lord Jesus, touch our military and their families and encourage them today by Your Holy Spirit, let them know You are with them in the all of their everything. There is no situation their family faces where You have not gone before them and you will continue to make a way for them.
“God always energizes us to do what He leads us to do. It is only when we go beyond His will to follow our own wills (or other people’s desires) that we are likely to get exhausted. Second Corinthians 2:14 says that God always “leads us in triumph.” His will is not for us to live defeated, weak lives; He wants us to be more than conquerors (see Romans 8:37) His will for us is strength, not weakness; victory, not defeat.” Author~Joyce Meyer
Military Family Encouragement
As a military family you are familiar with being in the “hurry up and wait” mode for things that you have not planned to be a part of your life story. The truth of God’s Word, that you are not alone is a huge reassurance for you when an unplanned PCS, TDY or deployment is looming on the horizon of your military family life. God’s promises are the steadfastness that hold the military family, like an anchor to the soul of your family. It is good to stand on them in times of transitions because they can bear you up to face the new challenges ahead for you.
“Many cultures today place a very high value on self-sufficiency. Do you believe that you are self-sufficient? The truth is that no one is sufficient in himself. Second Corinthians 3:5 says that our only sufficiency is from God. Whether you recognize it or not, your ability to do anything, including minister to others, comes from God alone. Thank Him that you do not have to depend on yourself, but can rely on His strength and power for everything you do!” Author~Joyce Meyer
Military Family, You Are Promised!
Yes it is a challenge to our flesh to wait on God, but in that great challenge of waiting the GOD purpose in the waiting is even greater than the challenge itself, so let your military family take hope in this.
Deuteronomy 31:7-9 Then Moses spoke to Joshua, with all of Israel looking on. Moses: Be strong and brave! You’re going to lead these people into the land the Eternal promised their ancestors He’d give them. You’ll give it to them, and they’ll give it to their descendants. And He will be leading you. He’ll be with you, and He’ll never fail you or abandon you. So don’t be afraid!
