What A Savior

I admit how broken I am in body and spirit, but God is my strength, and He will be mine forever. Psalm 73:26

All We Ever Need

No matter what You are growing through, whatever burdens of the heart that weigh down your soul, Jesus is Your Savior and the lifter of your head. God’s love gift of Jesus, His way, His truth, His life is a gift we can never outgrow our use up. At the name of Jesus, every knee will bow, every tongue will confess that He is Lord. There is no greater love than the love of Jesus, His love will never end, as a human race we will never outgrow it, we will never leave it behind, it will be available from generation to generation. God’s Love and truth is always with us and always for us all. The love of Jesus is all we ever need at every moment of our life, through every season of our life, His love remains and it remains strong and sure.

You have taken note of my journey through life, caught each of my tears in Your bottle. But God, are they not also blots on Your book? Then my enemies shall turn back and scatter on the day I call out to You. This I know for certain: God is on my side. Psalm 56:8-9 The Voice

Ever Present Peace

Jesus hears our cries and the pleas of our hearts, He collects our every tear. Jesus is a Savior Who is ever present, His name is strong and powerful. He is our place of refuge, He encompasses the all of us and saturates our soul in the powerful steadiness of His peace that surpasses all. He is our rock! When this world becomes a tumult of trouble and our soul emotions tumble uncontrollably, He says peace be still and His peace becomes a strong fortress in the middle of our emotional storm.

Fear the Eternal your God; serve Him, and be devoted to Him. Show your loyalty by swearing oaths only in His name. He’s the One you must praise—He’s your God who has done such great and amazing things for you, as you’ve seen with your own eyes. Deuteronomy 10:20-21

The All Of Our Everything

In every season of our lives, Jesus remains the same. He is the only one who can satisfy our soul, the only one who can fill our human need. We look to humans to meet our needs, but there is no human being who can meet all our need, we were created with an insatiable need to know God, be wholly-holy His and it is in this relationship with Jesus that we find every need of our humanity met. He is our All in everything, and in every life season, Jesus is all we will ever need and He helps us carry on when we feel we can’t take another step, He pushes us gently forward, undergirding us by His strength.

Eternal, there is none like You; for all we have heard no other god exists who has revealed such things. 1 Chronicles 17:20 The Voice

Undergirding Power

There is no one like Jesus, no love as devoted to us and never will be a love such as His. He will never forget us even when we stumble in this fallen world and He does not turn His back on us, He extends His Hand and reaches out to us and places us in the palm of His hand, undergirding us with His healing, restoring power. Jesus gave up everything for us and in this incredible, sacrificial love, He stands with us forever in that all of our everything.

Our teaching about this journey is intended to bring us to a single destination—a place where self-giving love reigns from a pure heart, a clean conscience, and a genuine faith. 1 Timothy 1:5 The Voice

Our Forever Hope

Jesus is the ONE Who makes our lives purposeful, He is the reason our lives mean something more than living for now and dying forever. Jesus built the bridge of Kingdom truth, and He is the way we can walk on that leads us from here to our forever. Jesus is our hope in this fallen world, He is the good that trumps the evil with the purposes of God continually in play for us, leading us to the best life plan God can give us, His will that can’t be altered by this world, our forever that is guaranteed by His life purchase.

Jesus leads us into a place of radical grace where we are able to celebrate the hope of experiencing God’s glory.3 And that’s not all. We also celebrate in seasons of suffering because we know that when we suffer we develop endurance,4 which shapes our characters. When our characters are refined, we learn what it means to hope and anticipate God’s goodness. 5 And hope will never fail to satisfy our deepest need because the Holy Spirit that was given to us has flooded our hearts with God’s love. Romans 5:2-5 The Voice

God’s Purposes In Play

Jesus is our hope, and He gives us hope that endures the tests of these times. Jesus’ hope is unfailing in the face of every human circumstance, it still rises, it always stands. Jesus is our song of hope when our human hope is blocked by the despair of our situation. His hope leans on forever truth and our hope leans on Him, knowing that we only see in part, but He sees in whole. We may feel we can’t swallow the sovereign will of God for us, but hope unites us with His Love, and it strengthens us, helps us to endure as we “grow through” the part that is seen, to the part God see’s, the purposes that are in play for our tremendous good. God has an endgame and it is good, He sees our lives in whole, and in this hope we rest.

There are many kinds of love—and not enough words to tell the differences. Hebrew has a word for “love” that is related to its word for a woman’s womb. English has no such word. It is too bad, for it is difficult to describe womb-love, the bearing-and-birthing love of a mother, the kind of love that the Lord has for the people of God’s promise, Jacob’s children. God shaped this people as His own and bound them with no ordinary promise. God loves them in the same way a mother loves the child growing in her womb. It can’t be said so neatly and completely with one “love” word, but that is the idea that threads its way through this text. The Voice Commentary Isaiah 49

Isaiah 49:14-23 Zion: The Eternal One has abandoned me. God has walked out the door; my Lord left me alone. He has forgotten all about me. Eternal One: Is it possible for a mother, however disappointed, however hurt, to forget her nursing child? Can she feel nothing for the baby she carried and birthed? Even if she could, I, God, will never forget you. Look here. I have made you a part of Me, written you on the palms of My hands. Your city walls are always on My mind, always My concern. Now sweet Zion your children are running pell-mell back to you just as fast as those who destroyed you are leaving. Raise your head, lift up your eyes, and watch your heart’s desire come—All your children, gathered and returning to you. As I live, so I promise. You will wear them with pride all like shining ornaments; you will put them on as a bride on her wedding day. Because of all of your destroyed land—the barren fields and abandoned farms— you are now too small, too cramped for all your citizens; And those who tried to swallow you whole will be far, far away. The children you mourned, those born in exile, will return and say, “It is too cramped and crowded for us; We’re going to need more room if we are to live here.” You’ll say to yourself, “Where in the world did all these people come from? Could these really be mine? I thought I’d been desolated, left empty. Where have you all been? Where did you come from?” 22 This is what the Lord, the Eternal, has to say: Eternal One: I will lift My hand and signal every nation that holds your people and they will bring your children back again: boys bundled in their arms, girls riding on their shoulders. Kings will tend the children of Zion, and their queens will nurse and nurture them. These greats will humble themselves before you. They will bow and lick the dust off your feet, and in the course of it all, you will remember that I am the Eternal. Whoever trusts in Me will never be put to shame.

“In the secret of God’s tabernacle no enemy can find us, and no troubles can reach us. The pride of man and the strife of tongues find no entrance into the pavilion of God. The secret of his presence is a more secure refuge than a thousand Gibraltars. I do not mean that no trials come. They may come in abundance, but they cannot penetrate into the sanctuary of the soul, and we may dwell in perfect peace even in the midst of life fiercest storms.” Author~Hannah Whitall Smith
