Trustworthy God

Psalm 33:4-5 For the word of the Lord holds true, and we can trust everything He does. He loves whatever is just and good; the unfailing love of the Lord fills the earth.

Sometimes Love Just Hurts

It is not easy to love, especially when love hurts. Jesus loved us even though it hurt. He loves us just as if we never sinned. At times, we find ourselves in a very stormy relationship, where love is tested like no other. Who can we trust to calm down our relational storms? So many times we have these hard times brewing in our lives and it leaves us dead in the water. We just don’t know what to do. It takes away all of our life momentum because all we can think about is trying to get out of the storm in one piece. We can see the storm brewing on the horizon and we think, this is not going to end well.

We Can Trust God With Our Heart

Relationship storms are the worst, especially when they are family, because family can do the worst damage to your soul because they are allowed in the deepest places of your heart. What happens when a family member becomes an enemy? It is the nastiest kind of inconceivable hurt. When a family member deliberately hurts you, what a difficult heart situation you find yourself in. Can God be trusted with the ugliest of our human nature? But we don’t trust Him with it and we try to carry it alone and what a huge burden it becomes for us and is always more than we can handle.

1 Minute Encouragement Video Where It Takes Only 1 Minute For God To Deeply Encourage Your Soul

“The sin underneath all our sins is to trust the lie of the serpent that we cannot trust the love and grace of Christ and must take matters into our own hands” Quote By ~Martin Luther

Forgive And Release

The only freedom from the torment of your mind and your soul that relationship storms brew up, is to fully face God, forgive and release the person to Him. Truly this sounds trite, but it is nothing but trite, it is powerful and purposeful and it relinquishes your finite control and puts God in the driver seat of your life. Why fight that? Why make the way so hard when God already has the final say?

Experience The Strength Of Willessness

Whenever a fully surrendered will happens, I call it willessness, and it is like leaning your life into a miraculous edge of favor and justice. When you face a challenge that is way over your head, in fact you can’t even wrap your head around the magnitude of the reality of it, and then its emotional punch has set you flying off your feet, this is the time for such a bold step as willessness and wholly-holy surrender to God.

God’s Purposes Are Trustworthy

Forgive and release! Do it! This is the perfect soul position to find when a huge life storm is brewing. Holy align yourself to God’s way, truth and life, and then watch and see how miraculously He works. God’s purposes in every great challenge, are always greater than the challenge itself. God purposes are always in play in our lives for our good and for the glory of His Kingdom, this is His Providential care. God is trustworthy.

A Godly Response Resounds Forever

John 12:23-28 Jesus (to Philip and Andrew): The time has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. I tell you the truth: unless a grain of wheat is planted in the ground and dies, it remains a solitary seed. But when it is planted, it produces in death a great harvest. The one who loves this life will lose it, and the one who despises it in this world will have life forevermore. Anyone who serves Me must follow My path; anyone who serves Me will want to be where I am, and he will be honored by the Father. My spirit is low and unsettled. How can I ask the Father to save Me from this hour? This hour is the purpose for which I have come into the world. But what I can say is this: “Father, glorify Your name!” Suddenly a voice echoed from the heavens. The Father: I have glorified My name. And again I will bring glory in this hour that will resound throughout time. The Voice

God Is Trustworthy With Your Storms

There is no one like our God, who can take a twisted up human mess and make that crooked place straight and also transform it into a great message of hope. God can and will make what is wrong, right. He is so good at reconciliation, it is His specialty. In that special way of His, only He can work out His salvation in the hearts of all involved. He is so trustworthy and we need to trust Him in our relationship storms. He can and He will calm the sea of emotions.

God’s Children Act Counter Cultural

You have heard that it was said, “Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.” But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:43–45

Released Wholly-Holy Surrendered

I really believe when you can pray for those who have hurt you, it is a sign that You have really forgiven and released them to God. Forgiveness is not complete in your soul until you release that person completely to God. Unforgiveness is holding on to the offense and the offender. The tighter we grip them to our heart, the more we begin to actually reflect the person who hurt us. We become like them, the very people who hurt us, the very ones we despise. This is why God asks us to forgive and release. This is why God’s way protects us more than we could ever even imagine.

Do Not Retaliate ~ Respond With Good

Romans 12:17-21 Do not retaliate with evil, regardless of the evil brought against you. Try to do what is good and right and honorable as agreed upon by all people. If it is within your power, make peace with all people. Again, my loved ones, do not seek revenge; instead, allow God’s wrath to make sure justice is served. Turn it over to Him. For the Scriptures say, “Revenge is Mine. I will settle all scores.” But consider this bit of wisdom: “If your enemy is hungry, give him something to eat. If he is thirsty, give him something to drink; because if you treat him kindly, it will be like heaping hot coals on top of his head.” Never let evil get the best of you; instead, overpower evil with the good.

Break The Bitterness Stronghold

Our human nature is so naturally vindictive. We want an eye for an eye, we want the person who has hurt us to pay to the highest degree. But God Says: Vengeance is mine. We want to make sure that the person that hurts us pays the consequences. This is our human nature. We don’t want them to get away with what they have done to us. We talk it up and the more that we do, the more the stronghold of bitterness gets stronger in our mind, effecting our will and muddying up our soul.

Prayer is God’s love in action. Once we begin to care for the person for whom we are praying, we can extend acts of love and kindness to that person as opposed to avoiding them or treating them as they have treated us or others. As we show our love and care to them, their hearts may be transformed in such a dramatic way that everything about their lives changes. They may even become ready to hear the gospel if they have previously rejected it or have never considered the good news of Jesus. But, it all begins with prayer. When someone angers or frustrates you, begin to pray for them.” Norval Hadley

Go With The Better Choice

Why does vengeance have to be Gods? Does God want to control us that much? No. Because honestly, God won’t breach our will. It is our choice to retaliate or not. The reason it is a better choice to let go and let God is because He sees so much more clearly than we do, He is always on the right side of truth. We don’t get it right. We never will. We only judge by outward appearances. And truly most of the time we are reacting off of an assumption. We foolishly and impulsively run beating the air, all based off of an assumption, presumption or rationalization that is coming straight out of our fickle emotions and usually we crash and burn because we were not running with truth that goes the distance.

God Is A Trustworthy Judge

God judges by the heart, He goes straight to the heart of the matter. Why? Because God knows. He knows everything. We think we know, but we have no idea of what is truly going on. God see’s the whole picture, we only see in part. When we run with the part that we know, we trot off with a prideful gait, and we are headed for disillusionment, disappointment and a big fall. Talk about dashed expectations, you don’t know the half of it when you strut with pride into a situation and you lose the battle because you underestimated the enemies deceptive nature and were on the wrong side of truth. God knows. Stick with Him first, He is trustworthy.

Pride Is Dangerous To Our Health

Proverbs 16:18 Pride precedes destruction; an arrogant spirit gives way to a nasty fall. The Voice

A Kingdom Perspective

God is working out of a kingdom perspective and we are grasping for straws out of our very limited worldly viewpoint, which is always biased by personal opinions and knowledge that we have gained from life experiences. And then there is our human condition, where we could never be wrong, even when we are not right, we are not wrong. How many times have you heard a human being say: “I was wrong.” Probably not very many times.

How Trustworthy Is God?

God is very trustworthy and we can trust Him more than we could ever trust ourselves. We can only react out of our flesh, but connected to God, surrendered to Him, to His way, to His wisdom, we then can respond with the mind, character and way of God. This is the best choice for us when we need to forgive. We are not truly giving up anything except our human foolishness and we are gaining so much more. With God in control, justice will eventually happen, purposefully so and things will get put in the right by the powerful and provisional hand of God. We could never achieve an outcome even close to what He can do in us and for us.

Jesus Is Trustworthy

Jesus rose victoriously out of death, defeating it for us and His resurrected love is our enough. His love endures forevermore and the world with all of its violence, betrayal, hurt and sin did not taint it. He was in love with us and He proved His love for us in the most miraculous way ever known to mankind. When we are in a relationship quandary, He is the best One to go to, He is the most trustworthy of all and He will make things right.

God Is Trustworthy To Finish His Work
