The Mighty God, the Eternal—God of past, present, and future— has spoken over the world, calling together all things from sunrise to sunset. From Zion, that perfectly beautiful holy place, shines the radiance of God. The Voice Psalm 50:1
1 John 1:5-7 What we are telling you now is the very message we heard from Him: God is pure light, undimmed by darkness of any kind. If we say we have an intimate connection with the Father but we continue stumbling around in darkness, then we are lying because we do not live according to truth. If we walk step by step in the light, where the Father is, then we are ultimately connected to each other through the sacrifice of Jesus His Son. His blood purifies us from all our sins. The Voice
We Have Fallen So Far
We Lament! Jesus, we come to You, broken, repentant and ashamed. It is so terribly awful to see how we are treating each other, we have fallen so far. Please forgive us Lord Jesus. You came, You came to us and gave us Your best. Your creation was perfect as You set the sun and caused the dawn to break through the dark. You brought us to life out of the dust of the ground. Sadly so, darkness has fallen over our nations. We have slowly faded away from what is right and true, we have chosen to follow after what is evil. We murder each other with no regard for the life, You seeded in us. We rebel against the authority You have set up, beginning with You as Head over all. Your Word of Truth has been rejected by our darkened human condition. Our humanity is declining in ways we could never have imagined we would be like, such dark depravity of soul. Without You, Jesus, as Lord of our lives, we are deceptively influenced so easily by evil and we have become an ugly people, our hearts so darkened, and our love so cold.
John 10:9-11 I am the Door; anyone who enters through Me will be saved [and will live forever], and will go in and out [freely], and find pasture (spiritual security). The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down His [own] life for the sheep. Amplified Bible
Our Conscious Is Dulled
We Lament! We disregard the gift of Your life, therefore we hurt, steal from, kill and destroy each other out of a darkened conscious that no longer responds to Your influence. We have shut You out, choosing the creature comfort over the Creator. How wrong we have been. We see our human nature totally out of control and it is plastered all over our national media, our dirty laundry hung for all to see and it no longer affects us, we feel no shame, our conscious is so dulled from the reality at hand. From nation to nation, darkness has fallen over us and we with our desperately sickened hearts, are doing atrocious, unthinkable things to each other. The children suffer so much, their innocence being robbed from them at such a young age with indescribable pain inflicted on them. Father forgive us and saturate our souls with Your life, light and love, in that abundant way of Yours that no one else could ever duplicate and cause us to stay and wait upon You.
Psalm 50: 19-21 Evil runs out of your mouth; your tongue is wrapped in deceit. You sit back and gossip about your brother; you slander your mother’s son. While you did these things, I kept silent; somehow you got the idea that I was like you. But now My silence ends, and I am going to indict you. I’ll state the charge against you clearly, face-to-face. The Voice
A Leadership Void
We Lament! Lord God, You have purposefully allowed a leadership void in our nations. There is no man or woman that we can follow, no one who leads with a purity of righteousness, there is no power higher than human self. We are serving ourselves, our wants, and our corrupted human nature. In the midst of the greatest leadership void that mankind, from nation to nation, has ever known, and through this vacancy, Jesus, You will arise again in the hearts and lives of people. Lord, You have purposefully created a headship vacancy on this earth, we have no patriarchs that we could follow after. There is no one fit to serve, to lead us, only You, Jesus. We take our gaze off of human beings, we all have fallen short of Your Glory, so we look to You, and cry out in prayer for You to change us, cause us to become Your people, wholly-holy in followship of You and You alone. We stay close to You and wait on You.
Galatians 6:8-10 Those who sow seeds into their flesh will only harvest destruction from their sinful nature. But those who sow seeds into the Spirit shall harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. May we never tire of doing what is good and right before our Lord because in His season we shall bring in a great harvest if we can just persist. So seize any opportunity the Lord gives you to do good things and be a blessing to everyone, especially those within our faithful family. The Voice
Never Weary Of Doing Right
We Pray It UP! Jesus will come and set this world right, from nation to nation, we cry out to You, our Deliverer. You are still our Savior. Lord God, You are a God of Justice and Your Right and justice will prevail. Help us Jesus, we pray to keep doing what is right, never weary of doing what is good and just and keep our focus on You, on the hope of Your future that will come. Jesus, we know, without a doubt, as we cry out to You, that You will come to us and in that incredible way of Yours, light up our darkness with hope. We watch, wait and stay in Your Presence hoping huge in You.
Psalm 139:11-12 Even if I am afraid and think to myself, “There is no doubt that the darkness will swallow me, the light around me will soon be turned to night,” You can see in the dark, for it is not dark to Your eyes. For You the night is just as bright as the day. Darkness and light are the same to Your eyes. New Living Bible
We Believe, We Fear Not
We Praise – We Believe! Jesus, we believe You will change things up and all that is wrong, all of our flip-flopped crooked morals will automatically be set right side up and pointed straight to You. You are our way, our truth and our life light that has never known darkness and therefore, we will not fear evil. As darkness falls over our nations, we remember this: in times such as these, You, Jesus, are still Savior, Redeemer, Deliver and King. Jesus, you will always be the light in the dark, we will not fear or dread these lawless times. The darkness can’t swallow us as You light up our hearts continuously, as we stand in holy alignment with You. We remember our Father God has promised us He will prevail, and in that incredible way of His, He will bow the knees of the whole entire world to Jesus Christ, His Son. AWE-GOD!
Ephesians 6:12-13 We’re not waging war against enemies of flesh and blood alone. No, this fight is against tyrants, against authorities, against supernatural powers and demon princes that slither in the darkness of this world, and against wicked spiritual armies that lurk about in heavenly places. And this is why you need to be head-to-toe in the full armor of God: so you can resist during these evil days and be fully prepared to hold your ground. The Voice
God Has Already Won
We Rejoice ~ We Receive! The battle that matters the MOST, God has already WON. We have a future and hope. We do have a lot of dark, evil skirmishes that are duking it out around us. A lot of the battle raging, we only see the symptoms of. We do not completely see with human eyes, the full reality of the battle being waged by our enemy against us. Our enemy is quite busy these days. I don’t think we should put our head in the sand and say there is no enemy, because our faith should never fly blind. We have an enemy, we should recognize this. We should glance in the direction of our enemy, then turn and fully face God, because He is the ONE Who is fighting for us right now in the unseen. We pray for the ability to stand on the side of God’s truth as intercessors of His living word. Prayer is the fight of our faith and we pray the Word of God that stirs up our hope. God is our Way-Maker God and HE is in control, and He still speaks, He still heals, He still delivers, He is still the winner. There is nothing outside of His purposeful control.
John 1:1-5 In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness,and the darkness can never extinguish it. New Living Translation
Immutable-Inextinguishable Light
We Stand In Awe! Lord God, You change not. Even though darkness is falling all around us, Your light still shines and the evil of this generation, will never extinguish Your Light. The light of God changes not, nothing and no one can put it out. God is powerfully Immutable and when our situations get heated up by the enemy of our souls and we feel like everything we see is changing for the worse, there stands our God, with His powerful arms open wide to us. He changes not. He still reaches for us, He still extends His mercy, His truth still stands and His love for us never dims. The Light of God will never be extinguished, it changes not.
Galatians 5:1;25 So stand strong for our freedom! The Anointed One freed us so we wouldn’t spend one more day under the yoke of slavery, trapped under the law. Now since we have chosen to walk with the Spirit, let’s keep each step in perfect sync with God’s Spirit. This will happen when we set aside our self-interests and work together to create true community instead of a culture consumed by provocation, pride, and envy. The Voice
One Thing Remains
We Follow Jesus! As the soul of our nations darken, ONE THING remains, God vestiges control in that, strong and steady way of His. Our Father God remains powerfully in love with us and is fighting for us, working for us in the unseen, on behalf of our good and the glory of His Kingdom. The Providential Care of God prevails in our generation. This battle for the hearts of this generation belongs to Almighty God, the One Who has already won the war and thoroughly beaten the enemy of our souls. We must be found in Jesus as His servant prayer warriors, we need to stand wholly-holy with Him in prayer, aligned with His heart passion, positioned with His Infinite Love and completely submissive to His Sovereign Will for us. In Christ, in vital-vertical relationship with God, we will be prepared and made ready to endure the challenge to fight the good fight of faith in times such as these and we will bring great honor to our God.
2 Timothy 3:12-15 Yes! All who want to live a God-like life who belong to Christ Jesus will suffer from others. Sinful men and false teachers will go from bad to worse. They will lead others the wrong way and will be led the wrong way themselves. But as for you, hold on to what you have learned and know to be true. Remember where you learned them. You have known the Holy Writings since you were a child. They are able to give you wisdom that leads to being saved from the punishment of sin by putting your trust in Christ Jesus. The Voice
Bowed In Humble, Respectful Reverence
We Depend Wholly-Holy On God! Jesus we cry out to You to change us, purify us, strengthen us in that formidable way of Yours. We bow before You in all of our sin and rebellion and ask for forgiveness, feeling very grateful for Your mercy extended to us and for Your unconditional love. Jesus, You love us, You love lavishly, even though we don’t deserve it. Remind us again that You carried our shame, guilt and sin to the cross, dying for all of us, once and for all. Wash us Jesus, cleanse and purify our hearts, King of Glory. Restore us wholly-holy to You, to perfect alignment with the purity of Your heart. Connect us heart to Heart and spirit to Spirit once again, in holy alignment with Your Truth. We wait on You, we are bowed before You, Jesus, in humble, respectful, reverence with a gratefulness that is boundless.
John 3:19-21 Why does God allow for judgment and condemnation? Because the Light, sent from God, pierced through the world’s darkness to expose ill motives, hatred, gossip, greed, violence, and the like. Still some people preferred the darkness over the light because their actions were dark. Some of humankind hated the light. They scampered hurriedly back into the darkness where vices thrive and wickedness flourishes. Those who abandon deceit and embrace what is true, they will enter into the light where it will be clear that all their deeds come from God. The Voice
Jesus, Unraveled Deplorable Human Nature
We Surrender ~ We Bow! It is so hard to watch our human nature unravel, nation to nation. People don’t sin alone, every sin has a consequence that all of us painfully feel. It hurts so much to see how cruel we have become to one another, we ask for Your forgiveness, Jesus, change us Lord God. Holy Spirit, fix our eyes on Your perfect ways, and cause us to break our gaze off of this world and to never look back as we pay forward our future and hope in You. As the darkness of lawlessness falls and deeply entrenches this world in its deplorable corruption, help us to focus on You, our eyes on stayed on You. Keep us purified as we bow before You each day, and as we live in this lawlessness generation, keep us from not being of it in any way. We know that without You, Jesus, we have no hope, our humanity is deeply depraved and darkened. You have trampled death, You have given us a future and a hope and we look to You, our King, our forever King, Jesus Christ! We pray Lord Jesus for You to clothe us in Your righteousness forever as we stay and wait on You.
Prayer of the Sinner Psalm 51:1-4 O God, favor me because of Your loving-kindness. Take away my wrong-doing because of the greatness of Your loving-pity. Wash me inside and out from my wrong-doing and make me clean from my sin. For I know my wrong-doing, and my sin is always in front of me. I have sinned against You, and You only. I have done what is sinful in Your eyes. You are always right when You speak, and fair when You judge. New Life Version
Jesus, Purify Our Hearts
We Repent ~ We Change It Up. We have rebelled, we have disrespected You and each other. We have hurt, destroyed and devalued each other, we have fallen so deeply into the nature of our enemy, the father of lies. Break the chains the enemy has around our nations and cleanse us, by the blood of Jesus, from all of this unrighteousness, from this evil pride that evokes our foolishness and destroys our God given common sense. Purify our hearts from nation to nation, state to state, community to community, and house to house. Lord God, we have become a dreadfully two-timed people, following after darkness instead of being Your light and truth. We have undivided hearts, change this Lord God. Reveal by the powerful Light of Your Truth every hidden, deceptively secreted thing so we are no longer deceived. Your will for us will not be thwarted! We pray You continue to purposefully work out our salvation as we turn back to You and fully face You. Forgive us Jesus, cleanse us of our deplorable human condition and keep us in Your care during these days ahead. Lead us Holy Spirit, we will humbly follow You, praying for Your help, guidance and wisdom to continue to stand on the side of Your truth and daily, fix our eyes on Jesus, His way, truth and light.
Pray It Up…
Holy Spirit we pray You cause us to be strong, bold and courageous in Your living Word, standing firmly on the side of Your truth, with our eyes fixed on Almighty God and His Kingdom. Help us not to look back to this world any longer. Strip us of our worldly viewpoints, no longer to be enticed by empty foolish, vain cultural say so. We pray for a Kingdom Perspective to be led by. We pray, Holy Spirit, You would help us to desire, passionately desire God’s Kingdom, our future and hope. Break the chains of this world from us, it is a failing world, it is a stumbling block to our human nature and we pray You would break every attachment we have to it and holy align us with Jesus, heart to Heart and spirit to Spirit and cause us to stay and wait on You and You alone.
Pray It Up…
Holy Spirit we pray, You cause us to humbly, reverently and respectfully bow before You, Lord God, our first step out each day being bowed in our weak, foolish humanity before Your strong, wise divinity. You, our Creator God, Who causes the sun to rise and set, let us humbly, reverently restore respect for the WHO of Your life and truth. As darkness saturates the world around us, we will lift up Your Name, the powerful name of Jesus. We will wait on You, our Mighty Warrior, heart to Heart and spirit to Spirit, our eyes on You and nothing will disturb, distract, break or disconnect our gaze from You. We turn away from this world and fully face You, King of Glory, Jesus Christ, our Deliverer, we stay and wait with You in our sights.
Pray It Up…
Lord God we pray, to be Your servant prayer warriors, intercessors committed to standing in the gap in prayer as the darkness continues to blanket our nations. We pray and wait on You, Almighty God, holding fast to You and Your Living Word. Holy Spirit, we ask You to strengthen us, enlighten us, and walk with us, so we will endure and continue to daily be the Light of Your Glory. Lord God we pray we will shine Your heart of empathy to people whose love has grown cold in this compassionless world. Jesus draw us to the purity of Your Righteousness, so we deeply desire to guard our hearts diligently and keep the flame of Your pure love bright in us. Father God, we pray our soul will praise You always as our spiritual eyes stay fixed on You. We pray to be filled with the fullness of Your Truth, Almighty God, by the power of Your Holy Spirit, so we are endowed to choose You first, serve Your Kingdom first, love You first and always endure and bring you honor. Praise You, Jesus our forever King. Let It Be So. AMEN!
