Secrets

“This is what the Lord says—the Lord who made the earth, who formed and established it, whose name is the Lord: Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come. Jeremiah 33:2-3 New Living Translation

God has secrets things He is working in the unseen of our lives. He doesn’t tell us everything as He purposefully works out His intentions from the inside to the outside of our lives. We don’t see it all, all the things He has designed for us to grow in or grow through, we only see in part, but He sees in full, purposefully and sovereignly so.

The cross is like a walnut whose outer rind is bitter, but the inner kernel is pleasant and invigorating. So the cross does not offer any charm of outward appearance, but to the cross-bearer its true character is revealed, and he finds in it the choicest sweets of spiritual peace. Author~Sadhu Sundar Singh

God is very concerned about our inner character and sometimes I wonder if that is His first concern. I know that He is our Shepherd and He takes care of us day by day, provides our needs here, but His first concern is always going to be Kingdom matters and as He is present in our today, His Kingdom ways, truths and life is in flow where He is and He is teaching, guiding, shaping and designing our inner personality and characteristics from every moment to choice that we experience in our day with Him.

In Job 38:28 the question is asked: “Who hath begotten the drops of dew?” It is one of God’s secrets. It comes quietly, and yet works so mightily. We cannot produce it, but we may receive it and live, moment by moment, in that atmosphere where the Holy Spirit may continually drench us with His presence. Author~W.Mallis

God truly cares about our next life and uses this life to prepare us for it. He has given everything for our eternity, so it is easy to see that His Kingdom matters much to Him as do His Kingdom people. He only shows us things in part, purposefully so, because He is shaping us with them from the inside to the outside. He is working on us, we are His workmanship and He tenaciously shapes and designs us, very intricately using all things of our life season for His benefit, not for here, but for us to be made ready for His Kingdom.

“Never… think we have a due knowledge of ourselves till we have been exposed to various kinds of temptations, and tried on every side. Integrity on one side of our character is no voucher for integrity on another. We cannot tell how we should act if brought under temptations different from those we have hitherto experienced. This thought should keep us humble. We are sinners, but we do not know how great. He alone knows who died for our sins.” Author~John Henry Newman

This is preparation, this time, this season that we are “growing through” is the preparation for the things God knows are to come. This is why it is so important for us to stay in the present with God, so we don’t miss or mess up what He is doing in us today. Every day matters, but it matters most when we stay in the flow of God’s wisdom, power, provision for the day at hand, that He purposefully is in and working His purposes through so He can finish what He has started in us, day by day.

This is the day God has made for us and in this day His purposes are flowing in our lives, His provision is complete, His promises are being worked out in us and His power is readily available as He presides over us in the glory of His omnipotence, working everything towards the good endgame that He sees in whole. He is our Savior now, He is our King for all eternity. Author~KimberlyMac
