No Anxiety

Pressing on in painful circumstances is the discipline of keeping our faith when everything not only goes wrong but becomes worse. It means holding onto the Lord during deep trials and asking Him to hold onto us when we feel weak in faith and hope. Author~Sheila Cragg

Anxiety can be so crippling and the panic attacks that come along side of it leave us with lasting effects and dysfunctional behavior. I am a former anxiety and panic fearer, and I was controlled by this fear in such a way that I could not go places alone for fear I would have an anxiety attack. God healed me and therefore, I love praying for and mentoring those who are still suffering with this, because I have the compassion and life wisdom to point them to Jesus, their deliverer and share His powerful truth with them. My heart goes out to you who are stuck in a vicious pattern of panic attacks because I know what that is like, but I also know Jesus Christ and I know He can deliver you and set you forever free from anxiety attacks and all the symptoms that like to tag along.

And now, dear friends, may the Lord of peace Himself grace you with peace always and in everything. May the Lord be present with all of you. 2 Thessalonians 3:16

Insecure? Got Anxiety? Listen Up To This 1 Minute Encouragement Video

People sometimes struggle very much alone with anxiety, they feel embarrassed by the weakness that plagues them and the first step towards freedom is admitting you need prayer and help. I hid my anxiety attacks for years because I wanted to be strong and I was ashamed of the weakness of having panic attacks. In hiding them, I did not realize that I was making them recur more and therefore becoming more dysfunctional in my behavior as even more symptoms choked the hope out of me and covered my soul in depression. Pride was a big trap for me and it caused me to fall deeper in the pit of anxiety the enemy had dug for me, so deep did I fall that only Jesus could deliver me and He did. Awe-GOD!

1 Peter 5:6-8 So bow down under God’s strong hand; then when the time comes, God will lift you up. 7 Since God cares for you, let Him carry all your burdens and worries. Humility is rarely a virtue that our culture values. We’re trained from an early age to show our strengths and hide our weaknesses. In fact, humility before one another and God is actually the position of the greatest strength. Our enemy desires to consume us, but we find strength to resist him when we are dependent upon God for His strength. 8 Most importantly, be disciplined and stay on guard. Your enemy the devil is prowling around outside like a roaring lion, just waiting and hoping for the chance to devour someone. The Voice

I am here to encourage you that even though you have had a very long season of hardship with crippling anxiety, God can heal you and deliver you, wholly and completely from the root to the symptom it displays. When you cry out for help and ask for people to pray for you, God’s Hands are immediately undergirding you and will strengthen you, hold you and never let you go. God is working in the unseen for your good and He will renew your soul in His strength and peace. God will be an anchor for you that can hold through every storm of anxiety, until He completely calms the sea of your soul. Peace Be Still.

Don’t be anxious about things; instead, pray. Pray about everything. He longs to hear your requests, so talk to God about your needs and be thankful for what has come. 7 And know that the peace of God (a peace that is beyond any and all of our human understanding) will stand watch over your hearts and minds in Jesus, the Anointed One. Philippians 4:6-7 The Voice

Pray It Up

Lord Jesus, I pray for those who are struggling with anxiety and I ask You to deliver them from angst and panic disorders by the power of Your Holy Spirit alive in them and through them. Jesus, heal them from the root of the anxiety, to the panic, to the symptoms it has created in their lives. I pray for a whole spirit and soul for them that they would be set free completely from anxiety in all its forms, symptoms and dysfunctional habits. I pray for complete freedom in Jesus name. Bring them into the sweetest personal relationship with You that they will ever know and cause them to create new spiritual habits that kick out all fear in their life and leave behind a peace saturated soul. Jesus, you freed me, I pray You do the same for them in Your powerful name. AMEN!

Keep walking with Me along the path I have chosen for you.
Together we will forge a pathway up the high mountain. The journey is arduous at times, and you are weak. Someday you will dance light-footed on the high peaks; but for now, your walk is often plodding and heavy. All I require of you is to take the next step, clinging to My hand for strength and direction. Though the path is difficult and the scenery dull at the moment, there are sparkling surprises just around the bend. Stay on the path I have selected for you. It is truly the path of Life. Water It

The Word of God is such a powerful weapon against anxiety, it waters your soul, washing away all anxiety. I hope the precepts in these scriptures strengthen you and fortify your spirit against anxiety attack as they have me:

Romans 8:31-38 So what should we say about all of this? If God is on our side, then tell me: whom should we fear? 32 If He did not spare His own Son, but handed Him over on our account, then don’t you think that He will graciously give us all things with Him? 33 Can anyone be so bold as to level a charge against God’s chosen? Especially since God’s “not guilty” verdict is already declared. 34 Who has the authority to condemn? Jesus the Anointed who died, but more importantly, conquered death when He was raised to sit at the right hand of God where He pleads on our behalf. 35 So who can separate us? What can come between us and the love of God’s Anointed? Can troubles, hardships, persecution, hunger, poverty, danger, or even death? The answer is, absolutely nothing. 36 As the psalm says, On Your behalf, our lives are endangered constantly; we are like sheep awaiting slaughter. 37 But no matter what comes, we will always taste victory through Him who loved us. 38 For I have every confidence that nothing—not death, life, heavenly messengers, dark spirits, the present, the future, spiritual powers, 39 height, depth, nor any created thing—can come between us and the love of God revealed in the Anointed, Jesus our Lord. The Voice

Matthew 11:28-30 Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Put My yoke upon your shoulders—it might appear heavy at first, but it is perfectly fitted to your curves. Learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble of heart. When you are yoked to Me, your weary souls will find rest. 30 For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light. The Voice

James 1:2-4 Don’t run from tests and hardships, brothers and sisters. As difficult as they are, you will ultimately find joy in them; if you embrace them, your faith will blossom under pressure and teach you true patience as you endure. And true patience brought on by endurance will equip you to complete the long journey and cross the finish line—mature, complete, and wanting nothing. The Voice

Psalm 29:11 The Lord will give unyielding and impenetrable strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.

Romans 12:12 Do not forget to rejoice, for hope is always just around the corner. Hold up through the hard times that are coming, and devote yourselves to prayer. The Voice

Hebrews 12:1-3 So since we stand surrounded by all those who have gone before, an enormous cloud of witnesses, let us drop every extra weight, every sin that clings to us and slackens our pace, and let us run with endurance the long race set before us. We may feel alone, but we aren’t. We are surrounded by an army of witnesses. They have run the race of faith and finished well. It is now our turn. 2 Now stay focused on Jesus, who designed and perfected our faith. He endured the cross and ignored the shame of that death because He focused on the joy that was set before Him; and now He is seated beside God on the throne, a place of honor. 3 Consider the life of the One who endured such personal attacks and hostility from sinners so that you will not grow weary or lose heart. The Voice

Philippians 4:12-14 I know how to be abased and live humbly in straitened circumstances, and I know also how to enjoy plenty and live in abundance. I have learned in any and all circumstances the secret of facing every situation, whether well-fed or going hungry, having a sufficiency and enough to spare or going without and being in want.13 I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me, I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency. Amplified Bible

Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Romans 15:4 You see, everything written in the days of old was recorded to give us instructions for living. We find encouragement through the Scriptures and a call to perseverance that will produce hopeful living. The Voice

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit

2 Corinthians 12:9
But He said to me, My grace, My favor and loving-kindness and mercy is enough for you, sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully; for My strength and power are made perfect, fulfilled and completed, and show themselves most effective in your weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ, the Messiah, may rest, yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell upon me! Amplified Bible

Never forget as you endure and are “growing through” a very long night season of panic attacks, that God is with you, right in the middle of them and His joy will come in your night season and break through, shattering the darkness with His Light! When panic attacks come stop and invite God’s Presence right in the middle of them and He will wrap His arms around you until they subside. One of the sweetest gifts God gives is called exhortation. It comes alongside the gift of faith, caring and giving and encourages people, pointing them to Jesus, Who truly is all they need. God has shaped this gift into me over the years I have been in relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit speaks His Words of exhortation. I hear, listen and write. I hope it blesses you as much as it does me. God bless you much.
