Never Alone

The one who formed you says, “Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. Isaiah 43 NLT

I Am A Prayer Mentor

Being a prayer mentor does not make me anything special, I am very ordinary, it just means that I have a heart after God, I listen to Him, I hear the compassion of His heart for others and I share His exhortation, His Godly appeal to us and for us to “grow through” the heart issues of this life caused by living in this world, but not being of it. One of the things that God hears most from us is the cry of our lonely hearts and the soul emotion of feeling alone. Today, God speaks to that and says very loudly to us: You are not alone, I AM with you, I AM for you.

We May “Feel” We Are Alone, But We Aren’t

The truth is God is with us in the all of our everything. He has pursued us forever and He would never leave us. He has not purposefully pursued us from the beginning of time, just to leave us or abandon us now. God’s nature is to be all in with us, to be all about us, to love us lavishly. Our feelings at times are like deep waters that we could drown in, but when we walk through these deep waters, God is with us. Our soul is sometimes a stormy place, but God never leaves us in our tempests, He is with us always and for us always. We are not alone, no matter what we are feeling, truth always prevails and will breakthrough our feelings in that powerful way of its God purposeful nature.

Upsetting Feelings Bombard Us At Times

Where does the negative feelings of being alone, forsaken, forgotten come from? Because they are so far from the truth, they are unreal assumptions. Our soul can be plagued with bad feelings that come from thoughts from the father of lies whose main intent is to kill, steal and destroy our joy and our lives. Without joy, we have no inner strength. When we give into the lie that we are alone in this world, it evokes all kinds of soul emotions that zap our inner strength and steal our potential and possibility right out of our day. It is a vicious circle when we chase after our feelings instead of clinging to the truth.

Entertaining Feelings

A prevalent feeling for times such as this in our busy culture is feeling left out. Have you ever felt left out? These feelings when we entertain them they never really travel alone, they bring into your soul a sense of abandonment and paint the walls of your soul with loneliness. Many times in my life I have felt that I was not quite good enough, not good enough to be someone’s first choice, always a second choice. Have you ever felt like no one really cares whether you are here or not? Do you feel invisible? When we think on these things it opens the door for sadness to inhabit the attitude of our soul and our thoughts will revolve around a piteous self-centered position.

Pity Partying With Assumption

We all get these thoughts that sully our soul and muddy our spirit when we entertain them. We are invited by the enemy to these pity-pouty parties in our mind and he invites others in, namely: discouragement, discontentment, disappointment, dissatisfaction, defeat, downheartedness, distress, despondency, dejection, disillusionment, depression, despair and death. You really need to notice how all these guests of our enemy that you are hanging with at your pity party, they all start with a “d”, like the devil, they are a part of his family and notice how they progressively get worse and worse. When we attend a pity party the party favors are thoughts like these: No one likes me. No one wants to be with me. I have no friends. I am not wanted by anyone. I am always the second choice. If someone has something better to do, they choose that over me, if they don’t, they settle with being with me. I don’t hear from anyone except if they need something. I am so lonely. No one is pursing me. I get left out, no one asks me to do anything. I don’t belong anywhere. I just wish someone would want to be in my life, would choose me. I feel so forgotten, left out, not good enough, always the second choice, pursing others but not being pursued. What is the point of my life, no one would even notice or care if I was gone. All these aforementioned thoughts incite really bad soul feelings, anxiety, dysfunctional attitudes and very negative emotions and they all have one thing in common, they are assumptions, assumed thoughts by a flawed finite viewpoint. Assumptions are lies from the pit of hell and they are placed in our mind by a divisive evil with the intent to kill, steal and destroy our joy.

Assumptions Are The Devils Playground

Assumptions are from the pit of hell because when our thought life buys into them, it sours our soul emotions and then it effects our spirit in a perverse way, exactly the plan of our enemy. The divisive root that our enemy is seeking to seed in our soul is that God is not with us, God is not for us. Our enemy takes our focus off of truth by pitching us an assumption to think about. Whenever we think about and buy into an assumption, we are opening the door of our thought life of our soul emotions to our enemy, who will be glad to fill our life with assumptive thoughts that disturb our peace, disrupt our thought patterns, destroy our soul harmony and rescind the peace of our spirit. Our emotions which are fickle, unstable in their nature take over our self-control and it is all downhill from there.

God’s Kingdom Plan

God is with us, this is an unshakeable truth, we need to cling to it and shake off every assumption that rises up to challenge it. There is no doubt about it, our God has done everything possible, even to the extreme of sending His Son to die for our sins, so He could be with us. There is no turning back for our God, He is with us, He is forever for us and is always looking out for our good. His purposes are in play in our lives right now and He is working out His Kingdom plan, with us and for our best. We are not alone and never will be.

Water Your Soul With The Living Water Of Truth

***You are just like your true father, the devil; and you spend your time pursuing the things your father loves. He started out as a killer, and he cannot tolerate truth because he is void of anything true. At the core of his character, he is a liar; everything he speaks originates in these lies because he is the father of lies. John 8:44 The Voice

***The thief approaches with malicious intent, looking to steal, slaughter, and destroy; I came to give life with joy and abundance. John 10:10 The Voice

***We are demolishing arguments and ideas, every high-and-mighty philosophy that pits itself against the knowledge of the one true God. We are taking prisoners of every thought, every emotion, and subduing them into obedience to the Anointed One. 2 Corinthians 10:5 The Voice

***My son, pay attention to all the words I am telling you. Lean in closer so you may hear all I say. Keep them before you; meditate on them; set them safely in your heart. For those who discover them, they are life. They bring wholeness and healing to their bodies.

***Above all else, watch over your heart; diligently guard it because from a sincere and pure heart come the good and noble things of life. Proverbs 4:20-23 The Voice

***We are confident that God is able to orchestrate everything to work toward something good and beautiful when we love Him and accept His invitation to live according to His plan.  From the distant past, His eternal love reached into the future. You see, He knew those who would be His one day, and He chose them beforehand to be conformed to the image of His Son so that Jesus would be the firstborn of a new family of believers, all brothers and sisters. As for those He chose beforehand, He called them to a different destiny so that they would experience what it means to be made right with God and share in His glory. Romans 8: 28-29

***The word of God, you see, is alive and moving; sharper than a double-edged sword; piercing the divide between soul and spirit, joints and marrow; able to judge the thoughts and will of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 The Voice

***Finally, brothers and sisters, fill your minds with beauty and truth. Meditate on whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is good, whatever is virtuous and praiseworthy. Philippians 4:8 The Voice

***Then Moses spoke to Joshua, with all of Israel looking on. Moses: Be strong and brave! You’re going to lead these people into the land the Eternal promised their ancestors He’d give them. You’ll give it to them, and they’ll give it to their descendants. 8 And He will be leading you. He’ll be with you, and He’ll never fail you or abandon you. So don’t be afraid! The Voice Deuteronomy 31:7-8

One of the sweetest gifts God gives is called exhortation. It comes alongside the gift of faith, caring and giving and encourages people, pointing them to Jesus, Who truly is all they need. God has shaped this gift into me over the years I have been in relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit speaks His Words of exhortation. I hear, listen and write. I hope it blesses you as much as it does me. God bless you much.
