You Are My Strength By:Hillsong
Psalm 110
The Lord Appoints a King
A psalm of David.
1 The Lord said to my Lord,
"Sit by me at my right side
until I put your enemies under your control."
2 The Lord will enlarge your kingdom beyond Jerusalem,
and you will rule over your enemies.
3 Your people will join you on your day of battle.
You have been dressed in holiness from birth;
you have the freshness of a child.
4 The Lord has made a promise
and will not change his mind.
He said, "You are a priest forever,
a priest like Melchizedek."
5 The Lord is beside you to help you.
When he becomes angry, he will crush kings.
6 He will judge those nations, filling them with dead bodies;
he will defeat rulers all over the world.
7 The king will drink from the brook on the way.
Then he will be strengthened.

Psalm 63
Wishing to Be Near God
A psalm of David when he was in the desert of Judah.
1 God, you are my God. I search for you.
I thirst for you
like someone in a dry, empty land
where there is no water.
2 I have seen you in the Temple
and have seen your strength and glory.
3 Because your love is better than life,
I will praise you.
4 I will praise you as long as I live.
I will lift up my hands in prayer to your name.
5 I will be content as if I had eaten the best foods.
My lips will sing, and my mouth will praise you.
6 I remember you while I'm lying in bed;
I think about you through the night.
7 You are my help.
Because of your protection, I sing.
8 I stay close to you;
you support me with your right hand.
9 Some people are trying to kill me,
but they will go down to the grave.
10 They will be killed with swords
and eaten by wild dogs.
11 But the king will rejoice in his God.
All who make promises in his name will praise him,
but the mouths of liars will be shut.

WATER IT! Water Your Expectation In God's Hope! Right now if your military warrior is deployed, most likely they are out in the middle of the desert on a mission to preserve and protect the freedom that we all enjoy. This mission no doubt will be a tough season of life for your warrior! There is none of the luxuries of home and if there were, there is no time off to enjoy them; they work and sometimes get sleep! They have no weekend! There is no time or place to celebrate their birthday or other special days, only desert, constant alert and stressful physical work. There is no down time in that hot, weary desert for a warrior, they need to always be on guard to protect their lives. To be brave and of good courage, they need Jesus, they need to wait, hope and expect what only Jesus can do! No Doubt About It – Jesus Can And Jesus Will Strengthen Your Weary Warrior!

Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.

HOW CAN WE HELP THE BATTLE WEARY WARRIOR?
- In this desert, these United States troops are always on guard to protect themselves from their enemies and preserve their lives!
- Fatigue creates one of the biggest battlefields where they must fight for clarity and this battlefield is in their mind; they must keep their mind clear and focused because it could mean their life.
- They are excellently trained and really physically up for and ready for the task at hand; but the emotional stress of losing a brother-a comrade in arms has hit them many times in this mission and they have to fight to keep their mind focused so they can accomplish their daily mission and stay alive.
- We can help them by praying for them, encouraging them and if we do get to talk to them, raising their morale by the things we say to them, keeping them positive, grateful and hopeful!
- When you are battle weary, this is a huge task to accomplish and it helps if you water yourself with God’s Promises!
Today, there are thousands and thousands of our military warriors who are facing and braving the hot–dusty desert winds, sacrificing and battling courageously to keep our flag raised high so we can enjoy the liberty and justice for all that this great nation offers us. Pray for them! Read and prayer meditate on the scripture below. Gleam the promises from them and pray them for our United States Military! It is the least we can do, for the huge sacrifices they honorably, courageously and selflessly make to defend, protect and procure our freedoms!
Psalm 130
Awaiting Redemption
A song of ascents.
1 Out of the depths I call to You, LORD!
2 Lord, listen to my voice;
let Your ears be attentive
to my cry for help.
3 LORD, if You considered sins,
Lord, who could stand?
4 But with You there is forgiveness,
so that You may be revered.
5 I wait for the LORD; I wait,
and put my hope in His word.
6 I [wait] for the Lord
more than watchmen for the morning–
more than watchmen for the morning.
7 Israel, put your hope in the LORD.
For there is faithful love with the LORD,
and with Him is redemption in abundance.
8 And He will redeem Israel
from all its sins.

I am an American who is so grateful to our United States Military. Are you? Be so! Pray For Them! Stand In The Gap For Them. God’s Got And Army Of Prayer Warriors! Be One! Listen To This Song: God’s Got An Army By: Carman And Be Inspired To Join God’s Army And Pray-Encourage-Hope!
-
JUST DO IT! START NOW! PRAY!
- Holy Spirit renew us each day like the morning dew renews the parched battle weary land that we might go to war and willing serve You with a strength that is not of ourselves but drenched, saturated with Your favor so that we might rule over all our enemies! Make it so Lord Jesus!
- I long to see Your Glory fall upon all the dry and parched land of these battlefronts that I take a stand in. I long to see hope saturate the souls of those whose morale is failing, those that my heart grieves for, those whom I am separated from during this deployment.
- I feel battle dehydrated! I pray Your Word and Your Promises will encourage me today. I am determined to fight the good fight and be an encouragement to my warriors! Wake me up to Your wisdom and promise each day– may new life arise in my soul – sweeping out the stress of desert dust and causing me to know that You, Lord Jesus are simply-significantly enough for me and my warrior today! Make it so Lord Jesus! I Cling To Your Promises! Stir Up Your Hope In My Heart Right Now!
- Jesus, the battle is Yours! I admit the heat of it makes us weary at times and causes us to want to sit with fear on the sidelines, withdrawing from the battle for a while! BUT GOD – You are Almighty, Strong and Powerful in ways we can’t even begin to know. You are The Advocate – Ever Present In Omnipotence On Behalf Of All Military Warriors And Their Families.
- Holy Spirit, I pray today in that special way only You know how, that You would guide and help all Your Warriors to be refreshed, Your Spirit to their spirits – revive each of us in Your Promise! Renew the morale of Your military warriors and all their family members! So Be It! AMEN!
There will be no "knights in shining armor" in God's kingdom; our armor will have many dings and dents. No, no perfect Hollywood heroes will ride to save the day; just wearied saints to look to God and, in weakness, find Christ's strength. This, indeed, is the essence of God's kingdom: divine greatness manifest in common people.
