This past year, my husband lost his job and we found ourselves having to suddenly uproot our lives and move. I asked God for help, but I did not really believe He could fix the mess we were in because I let the largeness of the situation dictate impossibility to my thought life. I was speaking negatively, therefore not believing God was working in the unseen for our good, not believing in God for results. God allowed the circumstances to continue for a lengthy season without a breakthrough because I was not really believing that something good could happen, that we could ever be “the head and not the tale” in this situation. All God has asked us to do is believe in Him. It is what I desire to be, completely found in Jesus. I want to be His and believe only in Him, saying yes to Him before He asks me the question and being surrendered in belief!
