But He knows the course I have traveled. And I believe that were He to prove me, I would come out purer than gold from the fire. My foot has been securely set in His tracks; I have kept to His course of life without swerving; Job 23:10-11 The Voice

The Miraculous Musings Of A Follower Growing In Followship Of Jesus!

“There is no doubt that we are all called to be “Christian Leaders” in the sense that we are called to lead people to Christ. But to lead others to Christ, we ourselves, must learn the attributes of being a good follower. Volumes have been written on leadership. Our world is replete with books, tapes, videos, conferences and training sessions on Leadership. But to be a Leader for Christ it is the skills of FOLLOWSHIP that we must master. Jesus has already blazed the trail to salvation. He is the one true Leader! And the followship skills we need are found in the book we call the Bible!” Quote By: Brian Pusateri

Jesus, sometimes I feel the isolation of this culture shroud me in the deep darkness of loneliness. If feel hidden in and by this darkness, I am afraid my heart will be overwhelmed by it. This loneliness is the consistent storm of my current life season. Loneliness is my spiritual fog that keeps me from seeing ahead with clarity. I feel like I am groping in the dark trying to find my way to You, to track with You. Are You there? The storm around me rages on and on? Where are You? All I see is loneliness ahead. I pray for a Kingdom Perspective Lord Jesus.

Followship Is Fearless Faith

As they sailed, a storm formed. The winds whipped up huge waves that broke over the bow, filling the boat with so much water that even the experienced sailors among them were sure they were going to sink. Jesus was back in the stern of the boat, sound asleep on a cushion, when the disciples shook Him awake. Disciples (shouting over the storm): Jesus, Master, don’t You care that we’re going to die? 39 He got up, shouted words into the wind, and commanded the waves. Jesus: That’s enough! Be still! And immediately the wind died down to nothing, the waves stopped. Jesus: How can you be so afraid? After all you’ve seen, where is your faith? The disciples were still afraid, slowly coming to grips with what they had seen. Disciples (to one another): Who is this Jesus? How can it be that He has power over even the wind and the waves? The Voice Mark 4:35-41

The road ahead seems steep, and I can’t see my feet in the fog, I am afraid of stumbling and falling down into a deep pit where I won’t be able to get out of it. I feel at times from what I can see, that I won’t be able to navigate what I can’t see head. Lord Jesus, I lift my hands in faith to You, I know the truth is that You have not given me more than I can bear, and as I stay close to You, in vital-vertical relationship with You, You will help me, guide me, equip me and strengthen me for the way ahead. You are the Way-Maker, the Tracker. For my next step, I need to put my foot into the print of the Tracker, Who has gone before me. This is dangerous ground. Help me not to take the easy way out, help me to “grow through” with You, the ONE Who is in control of all these life elements.

Followship Surrenders Finite Plans And Tracks With God

Psalm 18:33 He makes my feet like hinds’ feet, able to stand firmly or make progress on the dangerous heights of testing and trouble; He sets me securely upon my high places. Amplified Bible “When Habakkuk looks around him, it seems the good suffer and the wicked prosper. The Babylonian Empire is threatening to destroy Judah, the Egyptian armies have abandoned their treaty with Jerusalem, and within Judah some of God’s own people are abandoning Him for personal gain. But when he asks God why the good suffer, God explains that in the long run, they don’t. God is in control of all of creation, and only He can see how current circumstances fit into His greater plan. With that knowledge, Habakkuk now praises God for answering the prophet’s questions, for being in control, and for eventually vindicating His faithful followers.” The Voice Commentary Habakkuk 3

I remind my soul today, WHOSE I am. I belong to the ONE Who rescued me, Who set me free from sin and death. I belong to Jesus forever. Jesus, I remind my soul, that I belong wholly-holy to You. I do not belong to loneliness or the despair of its darkness, I belong to Jesus, Who pursued me and found me, I belong to His Kingdom of light, love, truth, hope and peace. Lord, cause me to know that I am fully owned by YOU and no one, nothing can steal my citizenship in Your Kingdom. I am Yours, therefore I will honor you with all my ways.

Followship Is Being Fully Owned

Do you not know that your body is the temple, the very sanctuary of the Holy Spirit Who lives within you, Whom you have received, as a Gift from God? You are not your own, You were bought with a price, purchased with a preciousness and paid for, made His own. So then, honor God and bring glory to Him in your body. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Amplified Bible

Jesus, You rescued me and I remain wholly-holy Yours. I am Yours, Jesus and I do not belong to the darkness of loneliness and the despair it leads me too. Today, I am so grateful that all these devices of my enemy, they just remind me that I am Yours, and they cause me to be desperate for you, God, to stay humble at Your feet, You the ONE, whose love came down and set me forever free. I can do nothing to free myself from this loneliness, targeted by my enemy to destroy me, but YOU can, therefore I humbly bow before YOU in all the weakness of my finite being and I pray for You to lift me up in Your Might, that I may stand tall against the principalities and forces of darkness on the platform of Your love, positioned in Your grace, joy and strength.

Followship Is Powerful In Humility

You may think that the situation is hopeless, but God gives us more grace when we turn away from our own interests. That’s why Scripture says, God opposes the proud, but He pours out grace on the humble. So submit yourselves to the one true God and fight against the devil and his schemes. If you do, he will run away in failure. Come close to the one true God, and He will draw close to you. Wash your hands; you have dirtied them in sin. Cleanse your heart, because your mind is split down the middle, your love for God on one side and selfish pursuits on the other. Since the beginning, our loving Creator has been pursuing us, drawing us closer to Him. He invites us to move closer to Him so we can be fully His. Now is the time to lament, to grieve, and to cry. Dissolve your laughter into sobbing, and exchange your joy for depression. Lay yourself bare, facedown to the ground, in humility before the Lord; and He will lift your head so you can stand tall. James 4:6-10 The Voice

Working for Jesus, harvesting for the Kingdom is dangerous work with many enemies! Yes, I have been bitten by the loneliness snake and the venom of despair seeks to saturate my soul with its poison. I choose to shake off the darkness of loneliness that the enemy bites my soul with. I choose to fully face my Warrior God, looking to Him for deliverance. I remind myself once again that I am Yours, Jesus, I am forever yours. You will never leave me nor forsake me to the will of my enemy. You will purify me, cleanse me and renew me once again with Your Life. I am not afraid of the venom of loneliness, You will conquer it. I trust YOU, Jesus!

Followship Is Fearless Trust

As Paul gathered an armful of sticks and was laying them on the fire, a poisonous snake, driven out by the heat, bit him on the hand. The people of the island saw it hanging from his hand and said to each other, “A murderer, no doubt! Though he escaped the sea, justice will not permit him to live.” But Paul shook off the snake into the fire and was unharmed. Acts 28:3-5 New Living Translation

Today, Your Holy Spirit reminds my overwhelmed heart to hold on to what is true and even if the road ahead seems unbearable and filled with pits of loneliness dug by my enemy, I am to lift my hands in praise and believe in Jesus. I am to remember I have an Advocate, Who goes before me, Who makes crooked places straight, and helps me to not fall prey to the trickery of my enemy. I am Yours Jesus, I am forever Yours! I believe in You, lead me. I believe that even though the way ahead is unclear, the path strewn with pits of loneliness, You will be with me. Way-Maker God, I believe in You.

Followship Is Undivided-Whole-Hearted Belief

Remember, my words are not my own. What I am telling you is from the Father who sent me. I am telling you these things now while I am still with you. But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you. “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid. John 14:24-28 New Living Translation

Jesus, You have not asked me to be able to navigate what I can and can’t see ahead, all you have asked me to do is believe in You, my Tracker and to track with You. I lift my hands in faith, I WILL believe in YOU! I choose to turn away from the “feelings” this fallen culture evokes in me and I choose to cling to You, the Living Manna, that completely nurtures my soul in God goodness.

Followship Is Tracking With Jesus

But don’t be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man can give you. For God the Father has given me the seal of his approval. They replied, “We want to perform God’s works, too. What should we do?” Jesus told them, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.” They answered, “Show us a miraculous sign if you want us to believe in you. What can you do? After all, our ancestors ate manna while they journeyed through the wilderness! The Scriptures say, ‘Moses gave them bread from heaven to eat.” Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, Moses didn’t give you bread from heaven. My Father did. And now he offers you the true bread from heaven. The true bread of God is the one who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” “Sir,” they said, “give us that bread every day.” Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

John 6:27-35 New Living Translation

I Am In Fearless Followship Of Jesus. Love Came Down, I Track With Him.

I place my foot in His Tracks left for me and I keep moving, fighting the good fight of faith, reaching forward, for the treasure of heaven, I press on. The reason I do not stay off course is because there are others in my boat, disciples of Jesus, who take the helm when my life is overwhelmed, they encourage the music in my soul to rise up in faith and belief of my AWE-GOD. Without those encouraging me, I would remain lost in the darkness of this life. I am thankful for Godly friends, I am thankful for Christian music and those called to share their talents and giftedness with us. I hope this Worship Spotlight, frees you from the grip of the enemy and you are able to shake off the darkness and step into the LIGHT of God and move forward, track with God as I was through this song, because of those Who cared enough to share it. Be one of “those” today, share this post with someone else, help them to shake off their darkness and walk in the LIGHT, TRUTH, HOPE of our AWE-GOD!
