Kindness

God Never Ravages Or Exploits What He Rules, But Rather Reigns In Justice And Kindness. Author~R.C.Sproul

goodmorning

Morning Manna

Your strong love, O True God, is precious. All people run for shelter under the shadow of Your wings. In Your house, they eat and are full at Your table. They drink from the river of Your overflowing kindness. You have the fountain of life that quenches our thirst. Your light has opened our eyes and awakened our souls. Psalm 36:7-9 The Voice

Good Manna Feed My Spirit This Morning

Reading this Morning Manna, I realize that God’ kindness is continuously shaping my inner character. We put our lives gratefully into the gentle hands of the Holy Spirit, where the healing flow saturates our souls and holds our spirit in the power of God. God’s smile brings us such great peace as He captivates our soul with a joy that the culture of this world cannot contaminate.

Faithful

Faithfully and purposefully, I am developing my AWE of God and it has truly brought my respect of God up to a whole new level in my spirit. God has a “kind heart”, a heart of compassion and it brings about great AWE for me and it is out of this position of AWE that I hope huge to be a faithful reflection of the kindness of God’s heart. If I am faithful to God and my vital-vertical relationship with Him, kindness will develop in me. When I am unfaithful in my relationship with God and vested here in this world instead of invested in the Kingdom of God, I will not walk in the kindness that is truly genuine. When I am faithful to myself, I will have a worldly charm that does not extend past my comfort zone.

Available

A kind heart is not a natural human condition, it has to come from a Spirit that is completely available to God, given over to God to His Kingdom plan. Kindness comes out of selflessness, which is a fruit of a will that is available to God and surrendered completely to Him. When you are available to God, and have a personal relationship with Him, kindness is a sure sign of living deeper than for now and having roots established in Kingdom soil.

Teachable

Kindness can be learned from God, especially if we have a teachable heart. Kindness is a symptom of a heart surrendered, a will leaning into the Sovereign Sway of God with an open heart, teachable by the character of God. Charm can only extend itself to the point of the object of my comfort, it does not stretch past the objects wants, it serves the human nature. God’s Kindness, knows no human bounds, it is willing to sacrifice all, it serves no human condition as it stretches past the finite worldly capability to the Infinite characteristic of Kingdom life, taking on God’s nature. Charm is a façade of a people pleaser, kindness is a genuine trait of a God pleaser

“It’s the kindness of God that leads to repentance. To my knowledge, no one ever comes to faith through meanness. Or watching someone be mean to others. In fact, there is no “meanness” of God. God is love — even when He’s sharing truth. And, we are to be like Him. At least becoming more like Him. Let’s clean up our act. Or, to put it in my Christian like terms — let’s let Jesus clean up our act. Let’s be more like our Savior. The One by whom we are called Christians. Christ. Let’s set an example for others. Not be so mean. Actually be nicer. A kinder, gentler breed of Christians. Let’s learn how to disagree with one another the right way. Full of grace and truth. Let’s love one another. And, demonstrate the peace of Christ to those who are seeking peace. If they can’t find kindness, forgiveness, love in us — where will they find it?” Author~Ron Edmondson
