MORNING MANNA: EPHESIANS 6:10-13
In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].
Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere. 13 Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place]. Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God.

| What A Great Meal, My Spirit Has Been Fed With Some Nourishing Manna. After enjoying this Morning Manna, I realized something about the dynamics of spiritual warfare; being a Christian makes you a target for bitter hearts poisoned by the enemy and lost-hurting souls that wag their tongues in adversity, spite and haughtiness! Even more so, being a Christian servant-leader increases the chances the enemy of your soul will find someone to tongue whip your spirit with half truths, spite and arrogance. I am sure the enemy waits, lurking around with a devious plan to scourge your emotions with disgrace, dishonor, discouragement and despair. Therefore, every day is a good day to put on your belt of truth! Tighten Your Belt Of Truth Today! |

| It seems when the tongues of negative people, principalities and powers wag incessantly, it grates against our human nature and incites-irritates our pride! I don’t know about you, but my will naturally wants to engage in the warfare of words when someone comes against my reputation, wagging a tongue of deceit! When I am challenged, I can be impulsively bent with the intent of defending my honor, reputation and rights! Yet, when my belt of truth is tightened around my soul, I am more likely to inspire than incite, more likely to turn the other cheek instead of slapping back with biting, devouring words. Therefore, every day is a good day to put on your belt of truth! Tighten Your Belt Of Truth Today! |

TIGHTEN YOUR BELT OF TRUTH

| The enemy loves to engage us in a spiritual battle, through physical means. What are we to do? I believe our best defense is to see what Jesus did and learn from His example! Follow Jesus, do what Jesus did! Start by resisting the temptation to look out for yourself and stand submissively-silent on the Word of God before your accusers, waiting courageously for God to defend you! Patiently wait-positioned in the presence, purpose and power of our Father God! Yes, this is tightening our belt of truth! In other words, when the battle got hot, really got going, Jesus tightened His belt of truth; He stayed silent in the face of the lies and in that silence was a subtle-yet very significant message! Patience is powerful! Always be faithful to put on your belt of truth, because sometimes in your life, especially when things seem to be going well, suddenly some person will get up in your face and throw up all their emotional garbage on you- or rapidly your circumstances will vehemently change for the worse- or abruptly negative thoughts will unexpectedly bombard the peaceful sanctuary of your mind! Therefore, every day is a good day to put on your belt of truth! Tighten Your Belt Of Truth Today! |

| When things suddenly go crazy wild and you can’t wrap your mind around your situation, nor can you see ahead with clarity, it is at these times you can be provoked to anger- accused to shame- taunted to fear and most certainly, you will be confronted by the enemy to engage in a battle of words in your mind. So today, I pray you as well as I, will learn how to let be, be still and hold our peace by standing firm in the truth that we know (as Jesus has written it in our heart of hearts) to be the true unseen reality! I am hoping huge for us to silently submit, as our hearts are yielded before our Awesome God with His belt of truth tightly around us! Yes! This is truly powerful living! Every day is a good day to put on your belt of truth! Tighten Your Belt Today! |

| So I encourage you when the voice of the accusers come into your life, choose to tighten your belt of truth; raise up your shield of faith and stand firm on God’s Promises, holding your peace! Oh Yes, there is freedom in silence and there is liberty in the power of truth, a precision that does not need our human rationalization, but stands alone firmly-securely on its own mighty reputation! So, my friends, the truth is too good, even if you hear the same thing over and over it still holds its power! And so I reiterate again, the next time you are confronted with thoughts from the enemy, “Tighten Your Belt” and stand silently-confidently on the Promises of God, in the Presence of Almighty God, resisting the devil with your shield of faith and lifting the sword of the spirit, as you firmly hold your feet in the stance of peace! Your enemy- he will flee! Not by your might not by your power but by the Holy Spirit in You! In Christ we live-breathe-move and have our being! YES AND AMEN!
