John 3: 16-18
This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted;

The Word Of God! Open It! Observe It! Apply It! Pray It!

I love the above scripture! John 3:16! Like many scriptures that I read, it refreshes me in the love of God each time I read it! I love my bible, it is sweet the way the Word of God saturates my soul in hope and puts an attitude of AWE in my spirit.

I observe this scripture as I do with other scriptures and I see so much in it as I read it and take it into my heart. Especially this scripture, because every time I read it or hear it, I am so grateful for God’s forgiveness! I don’t even want to think about where I would be without it! Hhmmmmm no way – not going there.

I can’t just think about this scripture, I feel compelled to live it. Therefore, I apply it from a different perspective, a point of view of someone who has been given much, therefore, I too must give much. I must be willing to give my life completely to Jesus. I need to follow Jesus 1st with a great passion to serve His Kingdom Purposes with my whole life!

I should always forbear with others, to forgive and forget. I must not be a person who holds grudges when betrayed by others, but turns the other cheek and point them to Jesus! I must love as I have been loved, love like I have never been hurt.

Loving others unconditionally, this is the least I can do, yet I know I can’t do it without God’s strength and power, so I begin to pray and I ask God for His strength-wisdom-discernment-compassion to be living truth throughout my day.

I open my bible, I read, observe, and apply. Then I pray the precepts will come alive in my thoughts, attitudes and actions everyday, everywhere I go and to everyone I meet. AWE-GOD!

Water Your Spirit! S.O.A.P. Your Spirit In These Scriptures:

Hebrews 12:1-6
THEREFORE THEN, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who have borne testimony to the Truth], let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us, 2 Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.(A) 3 Just think of Him Who endured from sinners such grievous opposition and bitter hostility against Himself [reckon up and consider it all in comparison with your trials], so that you may not grow weary or exhausted, losing heart and relaxing and fainting in your minds. 4 You have not yet struggled and fought agonizingly against sin, nor have you yet resisted and withstood to the point of pouring out your [own] blood. 5 And have you [completely] forgotten the divine word of appeal and encouragement in which you are reasoned with and addressed as sons? My son, do not think lightly or scorn to submit to the correction and discipline of the Lord, nor lose courage and give up and faint when you are reproved or corrected by Him; 6 For the Lord corrects and disciplines everyone whom He loves, and He punishes, even scourges, every son whom He accepts and welcomes to His heart and cherishes.

1 Peter 4:9-10
Practice hospitality to one another (those of the household of faith). [Be hospitable, be a lover of strangers, with brotherly affection for the unknown guests, the foreigners, the poor, and all others who come your way who are of Christ's body.] And [in each instance] do it ungrudgingly (cordially and graciously, without complaining but as representing Him). 10 As each of you has received a gift (a particular spiritual talent, a gracious divine endowment), employ it for one another as [befits] good trustees of God's many-sided grace [faithful stewards of the [a]extremely diverse powers and gifts granted to Christians by unmerited favor].
