Philippians 2:1-8
Have the Attitude of Christ
1 Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? 2 Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.
3 Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. 4 Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. 5 You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. 6 Though he was God,[a] he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. 7 Instead, he gave up his divine privileges[b]; he took the humble position of a slave[c] and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form,[d] 8 he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.

Jesus, I Pray To You Today For My Family:
- Father God, I am praying for our families to experience A New Day! Lord God, break up the fallow ground of our hearts and help us to let go of the past grudges, biting bitterness and deeply rooted discontentment. Draw us to a complete followship of You, Lord Jesus! Strip us of all culturalism and create in us new Kingdom hearts saturated in the passion and purpose of Your Heart. AWE-GOD!
- Holy Spirit teach us to cling to You before we sit ourselves down in our cultural ease and excess! Show us Jesus is our simply-enough for our family. May we worship You 1st, follow You 1st, love You 1st!
- Jesus, I pray we deeply desire A New Day for our family and lay our disatisfaction and restlessness down at the feet of the cross and look up; and when we do look up, I pray for us to see: It is empty! Jesus, You have risen! You laid down Your rights, so we might live in Kingdom unity in Him! Father God help us to know deep within our Family spirit, we don't belong here in this culture, we are assigned to it, but we are citizens of the Kingdom of God. Seed this truth in our lives, thoughts, attitudes and actions! Jesus!
- Protect our family Lord Jesus from friendly cultural captivity that will keep us busy, stressed and steal the genuine love from our family life. You love us infinitely so! The love for this world shatters the image of Christ in us! Keep us from idlolizing the indulgences of our culture. Keep us from desiring ease and excess. Stir us up in Your Kingdom culture. Jesus! So Be It!
- Lord God, You died for us to experience Your great love in our families. Help us Lord God to be willing to lay down our cultural rights and walk in Kingdom humility in our family. Help us to walk towards each other with Your humble attitude, bearing each other’s faults in Your Love. Selflessness is counter cultural, help us to be like You, willing to sacrifice for others.
- Holy Spirit cause us to lay down at the foot of your cross the rights to any grudge we might bear, to all our bitterness, to all unforgiveness, to every disapproval, to every discontentment, to every disappointment and to every betrayal. Give us tender, compassionate and forgiving hearts toward one another in our families. May this be A New Day of civility in American families by Your Spirit and Truth!
- Jesus keep us from the temptation of cultural excess and striving to keep up up with the status quo of our world. Help us not fall prey to culturalism that steals away our 1st call to You. Jesus! So Be It! Guard our hearts from our self-indulgent culture that defines love oh so wrong. Jesus help us model ourselves after Your Kingdom Culture, Your Kingdom Love! So Be It! AMEN!
- I pray as families pursuing A New Day, we will choose choice by choice - attitude by attitude - thought by thought- action by action to put God first, to focus solely on our true prize, Jesus Christ! Help us to shed selfishness and begin putting others before ourselves and be a servant in our homes and communities. Help us to make an eternal difference in the lives of others. Jesus sink in our minds the truth that what we do for ourselves does not last, what we do for others has an eternal edge impact! Jesus! So Be It!
- I pray huge for You, Jesus to restore the refuge of hospitality in our families! I pray we grow in unity as we gift what God gives us into the lives of our family- first! Let our family life not be all about us, but help us to care about our neighbors and put others in our community first! Help us to be a family who walks in the principle of selflessness=U-B4-Me!
- Jesus cause us to be families always in pursuit of Your Kingdom truth and purpose! May it be so in our family Lord Jesus! May we not settle down in friendly cultural captivity and blend into our communities! No! Jesus may we reach higher, may our lives reflect Your Kingdom culture! Jesus! So Be It!
- Lord God, unite in our families what has been broken by the spirit of strife and give us A New Day , a new way in the renewal of Your unconditional love, through Your Spirit and Truth! Create in our family heart, clean hearts and renew Your Spirit of Passion and Love in us!
- Oh Father God, I bow my heart before You, I pray you would heal the family structures in this nation, bring unity and community back as a refuge of Your Spirit and make this a new day, a new way for families all across this nation. So Be It!
- Unto You, Lord Jesus! Begin with me! I choose unity for my family in Christ Jesus!I choose Kingdom followship! Create A New Day In My Heart- In The Heart Of My Home!
Jesus may we be the one in our family to love the most with your unconditional love, to see others with Your life-perspectives! Renew a whole-hearted love at the center of all the families in America! I pray this be brand new day in my family! Let it begin with my heart, Lord God! Change me 1st! Help Families in America to cling to You, not to our culture, help us to serve Your Kingdom 1st. Help us live lives of love, infinitely so!
