Just A Thought
God doesn’t just come into our lives, He comes in like a torrential flood, washing away the old and bringing forth the new. He raises up a standard of truth in our soul, truth that stands the tests of time, of all trial and testing. Once we have experienced this life transforming truth, there is no turning our back to it, we must continue to fully face God’s Truth and let it have its way in us, let it transmute us until there is no turning back to our past ways! Powerful, powerful God we serve, incredible TRUTH, He has spoken and continues to speak into our lives by His Holy Spirit, Who lives in us!
God will finish what He started in us as we yield our lives to Him. God did not want our one experience to be the end all, for Him it was the beginning because He knows that the human condition has blind spots, they darken our minds and that is why we need exposure to the LIGHT of God’s Presence. Every day we need to open up our hearts fully to God, let HIM flood our nature with His Presence. Yes, our hearts are desperately wicked, we have seen this said so many times in so many ways in God’s Word. We need HIM, desperately so! We can’t do life, without being wholly-holy-His!
Just A Thought
The choices and consequences are clear. Rely on people alone, and life will be tough and brutish. Rely on the one True God, and life will be rich and productive. The heart is most devious and incurably sick. Who can understand it? Jeremiah 17:9 The Voice
So as the result of the Messiah’s intervention, they shall reverently fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him and put him to flight, for He will come like a rushing stream which the breath of the Lord drives. Thoughts come and go, but when the Holy Spirit speaks, they are highlighted by our human senses and they are the beginning of a transformation of our soul, that paints a God characteristic on our spirit that remains forever.
