Farthest Reach

Am I only a God who is close by, and not a God of the farthest reaches? Am I a God anyone can hide from? Do I not see what happens in secret? Am I not everywhere, filling heaven and earth? Jeremiah 23:23-24 The Voice

Farthest

“Am I not a God near at hand”—God’s Decree— “and not a God far off? Can anyone hide out in a corner where I can’t see him?” God’s Decree. “Am I not present everywhere, whether seen or unseen?” God’s Decree. Jeremiah 23:23

The Farthest Reach Belongs To Our God. Easter was and is the Father God reaching farther than anyone could ever do with a result that could only be reached by Him. Only Jesus could reach into the pits of hell, defeat death and ascend to heaven with the victory of reconciliation of sinners to the heart of the Father God.

Easter Is The Farthest Reach And From It, We As Servant Warriors Need To Glean, So We Too Can Reach Out With The Love Of Jesus And Serve Up Our World The Righteousness And Eternal Life Of Our Savior! Author ~KimberlyMac

God Has The Farthest Reach! When I think of Easter, I think of our AWE-God, Who pursued us from the beginning of time and continued to reach for us from generation to generation. Nothing stopped His pursuit of us. He created us and He wanted a personal relationship with us! God wanted us to be with Him forever. Even the original sin that seeded our human nature with a nature of iniquity, did not stop God from reaching us.

No man has ever seen God at any time; the only unique Son, or the only begotten God, WHO IS in the bosom, in the intimate presence of the Father, He has declared Him, He has revealed Him and brought Him out where He can be seen; He has interpreted Him and He has made Him known. John 1:18 Amplified Bible

God Has The Farthest Reach! The Way-Maker Father God, sacrificed His Son for us. This was a far reach. Yet even so, His Son was never out of His reach as He walked on earth, He remained in His bosom, in His Presence and in a close vital-vertical relationship with Jesus. God reached past the principalities and powers of this world, all the evil in the unseen and defeated it all. This is a really far reach, from here to there unto forever! Powerfully God reached out and broke the chains of death, so we could live with Him forever.

“How can God continually manifest His presence to the proud and the arrogant when He is so humble and low? To the lukewarm and the careless when He is so zealous? To the hard and the vengeful when He is so forgiving? To the harsh and severe when He is so kind? To the calculating when His love led Him to die?” Author ~ A.W. Tozer

God Has The Farthest Reach! Servant Warriors of God, how far do we reach? Do we reach past the things of this world that we want? Do we reach past all the distractions of our lives? Do we turn off the television programs, or is our DVR what programs our lives? Do we reach past our worldly viewpoint to find a Kingdom perspective in the things we are “growing through”? How far do we reach? Do reach past the sin to the heart of the sinner? Are we willing to reach out of our comfort zone, like Jesus did, sacrificing our right to comfort so that others could be freed? The King of heaven, who left everything, gave up all of His Kingly rights to come to earth and die for the people of the Kingdom. This is a King, servant warriors, which we should be following, that we should be emulating!

“Jesus came down from heaven and He talked about the Kingdom. (John 8:23) He lived in the heart of God and the other world (John 6:38) and the world above was the world which He inhabited. And think how earthly His people are and how worldly. They talk of furniture, TV sets, baseball, football, automobiles, picture windows, split-level houses, politics – anything but heaven and God.” Author ~ A. W.Tozer

God Has The Farthest Reach! Servant Warriors, Easter bought us a vital-vertical relationship with God. We are now able to rise above our weak human nature with the resurrection power of Jesus, filling our weakness with His strength. Jesus purchased for us a wholly-holy alignment with the Father God. Jesus so wants for us to have that and in knowing our human nature, by walking among us, He knows the temptations of the human condition and that is why one of His last prayers on earth was for us, was this Godly appeal to God for us as He pours His heart out to the Father God:

You Have Entrusted Me with these men who have come out of this corrupt world order. I have told them about Your nature and declared Your name to them, and they have held on to Your words and understood that these words, like everything else You have given Me, come from You. It is true that these men You gave Me have received the words that come from You and not only understood them but also believed that You sent Me.

I Am Now Making An Appeal to You on their behalf. This request is not for the entire world; it is for those whom You have given to Me because they are Yours. 10 Yours and Mine, Mine and Yours, for all that are Mine are Yours. Through them I have been glorified. I will no longer be physically present in this world, but they will remain in this world. As I return to be with You, holy Father, remain with them through Your name, the name You have given Me.

May They Be One As We Are One. While I was physically present with them, I protected them through Your name. I watched over them closely; and only one was lost, the one the Scriptures said was the son of destruction. Now I am returning to You. I am speaking this prayer here in the created cosmos alongside friends and foes so that in hearing it they might be consumed with joy.

I Have Given Them Your Word; and the world has despised them because they are not products of the world, in the same way that I am not a product of the corrupt world order. Do not take them out of this world; protect them from the evil one. Like Me, they are not products of the corrupt world order. Immerse them in the truth, the truth Your voice speaks.

In The Same Way You Sent Me Into This World, I am sending them. It is entirely for their benefit that I have set Myself apart so that they may be set apart by truth. I am not asking solely for their benefit; this prayer is also for all the believers who will follow them and hear them speak.

Father May They All Be One as You are in Me and I am in You; may they be in Us, for by this unity the world will believe that You sent Me. All the glory You have given to Me, I pass on to them. May that glory unify them and make them one as We are one, I in them and You in Me, that they may be refined so that all will know that You sent Me, and You love them in the same way You love Me.

“Peter followed afar off but he couldn’t stand it, and the Lord turned and looked at him. Then Peter went outside and wept bitterly. Have you any tears for your unlikeness? Have you any tears for that distance between you and God that you know isn’t there and yet feel is there? God can’t show His face. You’ve allowed self-indulgence, harshness, a vengeful spirit, lukewarmness pride and worldliness to put a cloud over the face of God.” Author ~ A. W.Tozer

God Has The Farthest Reach! Selah! “When you can’t escape that sense of remoteness, and many a day is a heavy one because God seems far from you. You know He isn’t but you feel He is. I think repentance is called for. We need to repent of unlikeness; of unholiness in the presence of holy; of self-indulgence in the presence of the selfless Christ; of harshness in the presence of the kind Christ; of harness in the presence of the forgiving Christ; of lukewarmness in the presence of the zealous Christ, burning like a fiery flame; of worldliness and earthliness in the presence of the heavenly Christ. I think we ought to repent. What are you going to do about it? Has He opened your heart?” Author ~ A.W.Tozer
