Embrace The New

Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. Psalm 139:4-6 – NIV

A New Month

As we start a new month, we have a tendency to look back at the old, which is fine, it never hurts to hunt for heavenly hindsight in our past, but we have to be careful of that old, tauntingly familiar voice of our enemy that wants to speak discouragement in our soul by saying to us: “nothing has really changed as you start this month”.

The Truth Is

The truth is that we can’t ever measure change with a worldly viewpoint because we only see in part, so the best thing to do in this situation when you hear those divisively evil thoughts is to quote the truth of these scriptures:

For now, we can only see a dim and blurry picture of things, as when we stare into polished metal. I realize that everything I know is only part of the big picture. But one day, when Jesus arrives, we will see clearly, face-to-face. In that day, I will fully know just as I have been wholly known by God.
1 Corinthians 13:12 The Voice

And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.
Philippians 1:6 Amplified Bible

Precept And Promises

Both of these scriptures go hand in hand just like God’s precepts and promises do. The truth is, we do only see in part and God sees in whole and the part we see, we can’t really see clearly anyway because we don’t see our heart the way God sees it. There are many changes in a situation that begin in our heart first. God is thorough, He is not going to change a situation on the surface, He is going to go deeper, so we “grow deeper” through our life circumstances.

Permanent Takes Time

Things that become permanent, take time. Things that are impulsively fast, don’t last. God wants what is best for us, that is why the moment that you pray and ask Him for help in a situation, at that very moment, He is dispersing His Kingdom purposes. His kingdom purpose are always in play for us. There is not a moment in this new month that He won’t be working from the inside out, purposefully so, all for you.

God Finishes Excellently

The second scripture is a promise that God will finish what he starts. He is so faithful our God. He is working constantly for our good, working towards an end goal that is perfect for us. He takes His time because He knows that He has given us His promises to hold on to. So we cling to the promises of God as He works out the living precepts of His life into ours. This is why these two scriptures fit perfectly together.

Changing Permanently

When you hear the enemy spouting off at you that nothing has changed, then you need to hit right back at him with a precept and a promise. Yes, I am changing from the inside out, I may not see it, but God is working in me and He will finish what he started in a miraculous, incredible, unbelievable way, in His special way that I could never hope for, think of or imagine. Watch and see.

Dig Deeper In This God Wisdom

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Eternal, “plans for peace, not evil, to give you a future and hope—never forget that. At that time, you will call out for Me, and I will hear. You will pray, and I will listen. You will look for Me intently, and you will find Me. Jeremiah 29:11-13 The Voice

Pull up stakes completely in this world and dig the life roots of your faith in the kingdom of God. We don’t have to be afraid of anything in this world because we have a blood bought, guaranteed future and hope in God’s Kingdom. Let your hope in this rise above your current situation and God’s love will set you free from the fear of the now.

“No matter where you are at, God is going to finish what He started in you. There is no doubt about it. He is in the process. God’s great purposes are in play in your life. He will finish and finish excellently. This is His Way. Always has been, always will be.” Author~KimberlyMac

And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ right up to the time of His return, developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you. Philippians 1:6 The Voice

Live It Out – Change – Be So

Nothing has really changed in my life situation as I start a new month, same old challenges. BUT something has changed in me. I decided to listen more to God and less to my human condition. I decided to see things more out of a kingdom perspective and less out of my viewpoint. I decided to live life on the offensive side of faith instead of defensively! I am daily aligning myself with Jesus and whatever Jesus passes my way and running with excellence, running to win! Quote By~KimberlyMac

A Thrilling Adventure: “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” So He said, “Come.” Matthew 14:28-29, NKJV

“When it comes to experiencing God, I have to choose Him at all cost. I have to be willing to step out of the boat, as Peter did in Matthew 14, risking total failure in the eyes of others, in order to discover firsthand His power enabling me to walk on the water when He bids me, “Come.” Again and again, I’ve been confronted with hard choices when I’ve had to throw caution to the wind and abandon myself to faith in Him, and Him alone . . . “Author~Anne Graham Lotz

Think On These Bites Of God Wisdom

“A blind, anemic, weak-kneed flea on crutches would have a greater chance of defeating a herd of a thousand wild stampeding elephants, than the enemy has of defeating God.” Author~Ray Comfort

“God will not permit any troubles to come upon us, unless He has a specific plan by which great blessing can come out of the difficulty.” Author~Peter Marshall

“The Bible reveals things about God that we know are true in spite of our inability to understand them fully. We face similar problems in the natural world. We understand that gravity exists, but we do not understand it, nor do we seek to define it in irrational or contradictory terms. Most everyone agrees that motion is an integral part of reality, yet the essence of motion itself has perplexed philosophers and scientists for millennia. There is much that is mysterious about reality and much that we do not understand. But that does not warrant a leap into absurdity. Irrationality is fatal both to religion and science. Indeed, it is deadly to any truth.” Author~R.C. Sproul

Water It With God Wisdom And God’s Word

‘Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people because of them that dwell in a far country: Is not the Lord in Zion? is not her king in her?’ Jeremiah 8:19

“You are the Lord’s children, therefore He will hear you. If you were strangers it might be a different thing. Our prayers might very readily be pulled to pieces by critics, but our Father will not criticize them, because they are the cries of his own children. Look at Christ, the husband of the church, do you think he will refuse the cry of his own spouse?” Author~Charles Spurgeon

Selah – Stop And Think About This

I Step Into This New God Adventure Having Shaken Off The Past And Pressing Forward In Christ Alone. I Will Live On The Miraculous Edge Of His Power Working In Me And Through Me.

I am a prayer mentor for God, His exhorter and I have given Him my life wholly-holy to serve Him here for the glory of the Kingdom of God. I find that I am constantly so far above my head as I live out my life journey. In my messy human condition, I am always fleshing out and taking God and everything He is in. But friends, isn’t this a kind of a cool way to live, with His miraculous edge, in this great God adventure, as we desperately cling to God in our vital-vertical relationship, in constant conversation with Him, and as we experience the very sweet and exciting glory of God in that special way only His Holy Spirit could work in us and through us. We are way too blessed in being His. AWE-God!

One of the sweetest gifts God gives is called exhortation. It comes alongside the gift of faith, caring and giving and encourages people, pointing them to Jesus, Who truly is all they need. God has shaped this gift into me over the years I have been in relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit speaks His Words of exhortation. I hear, listen and write. I hope it blesses you as much as it does me. God bless you much.
