Easter Destiny

Our Easter Destiny

Jeremiah 29:11-14 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not fore evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile. English Standard Version

A Greater Destiny

Easter stirs up a lot of things in my heart that I ponder and many questions too that I roll around in my mind. Have you embraced the destiny of Easter? What is your life destination? What destiny do you walk out of every single day? Which destiny do you possess? Do you have a death destiny? Do you have a forever life destiny? Which one do you live out of? We all have a worldly viewpoint right now that seems to take center stage in our lives, but we also can have a Kingdom perspective, we forget that because we get so rooted here on this earth. Easter is a reminder that we don’t belong here. We have a greater destiny, a forever destiny.

John 10:28-29 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.

Snatched From Death

Jesus stripped off the clutches of death for us. He made a way out of death for us. We no longer die. We are changed in an instant and our lives go on with Him. This is not all there is, this life, this world. Our enemy would love to snuff out our inner light, but he can’t. We are promised non extinction in that forever way of God’s because our Easter Savior spoke life and crushed death’s power over us. This is our Easter Awe.

John 16:33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. ESV

Never Without Power

Jesus resurrection is a miraculous moment that we live in the power of every single day. It goes on, this resurrection power as Jesus lives in us, He miraculously fills us daily with strength beyond our human ability. Yes, we all are “growing through” difficult things, but we are not alone, nor are we without the power and peace to endure and persevere until God breaks through in the marvelous way of His.

Job 23:14 For He will complete what He appoints for me, any many such things are in His mind. ESV

Eternity Was Written On Our Hearts

Jesus’s resurrection is an unexplainable, documented part of our history. We can’t wrap our human minds around this miraculous transformational point of our history, our Jesus, our Savior, our Redeemer, came to us and changed our destiny forever. All change has a beginning and humanity was forever changed that first Easter as Jesus rose from the dead and defeated death. Easter has a transformational power that continues to work in us the Sovereign Will of our God. He Who has written eternity into our hearts, will continue to work it out in our lives. He has great plans in mind for us. We have an amazing Easter Destiny in that forever kind of Kingdom way.

Unstoppable JOY

Easter is our destiny of a forever life with Jesus. Our destiny was gifted by a Savior Who came to us. That is such a huge point that we should not miss when we stir up our Easter Awe. Jesus, our Savior came to us, here and He came to die in our place, so we could live out of His life. This is Easter joy. It is an unstoppable Joy and it can’t be put out by this world, because this world does not bind it or bound it up in anyway. It goes beyond the nature, it is a supernatural joy, empowered by a destiny that is not of this world.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end. New Living Translation

We Are Wanted

Our lives began with eternity written on our hearts, so when we accept Jesus, we accept the destiny that has been planned for us since the beginning of time. Easter was not just a one time thing, it was planned in the heart of God to pursue us so we might live with Him forever. He wanted us. He wants us. He is still wanting us. God is pursuing us with the resurrected power of Easter. We are wanted, this is the sweetest message of Easter and also a very powerful message for our soul.

Easter Ushered In Fellowship And Followship

We were created to be in fellowship with God and followship of God. Easter proves the heart of the Father God was so with us. He had a plan to “fix” what the enemy distorted with sin and He worked out His purpose in every generation bringing forth the bloodline of the Messiah. God was working towards this end of Easter morning, which became the beginning of our real and forever life. Easter doesn’t need to be proven by us to accept the resurrected power of it. We don’t have to be able to wrap our human minds around it. Simply-Significantly God is the Proof, Jesus is the Proven and the Holy Spirit is the Prover.

1 Corinthians 2:7-9 But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory. We should revel in the joy of Easter because our Savior, Jesus redeemed us from the curse of death and we will live forever with our God. God’s JOY is full as He continues to pursue us with a life option of eternal life with Him. His heart desires us so much, it bursts out in pursuit of relationship with us and we know the joy of His heart when we connect with Him spirit to Spirit as our personal relationship with God develops, we begin to sense His huge heart towards us.
