Convinced

People allow what they think to influence them in many ways, both big and small. Thoughts and attitudes influence people in many ways. We can never move beyond what we think and believe. Author~Joyce Meyer

Convinced = Actions

What is your mind convinced of and what are you doing and saying in reaction to your thoughts today?

The foolish are convinced deep down that there is no God. Their souls are polluted, and they commit gross injustice. Not one of them does good. Psalm 53:1 The Voice

Mind Set = Reactions

What are you “convinced” of today that is inspiring your life choices? What influences your actions? What has swayed your motive? Who are you allowing to persuade you? What is impacting your attitude today? What thoughts are you listening too that are stirring up your soul emotions and creating reactions that are fleshed out either in a good or a bad way?

But the chief priests and the elders convinced the crowd to demand that Barabbas, not Jesus, whom-some-call-the-Anointed-One, be freed and that Jesus be put to death. Matthew 27:20

Convinced = Contagious Conviction

We don’t think alone? What? That is a paradoxical statement but very true when you think it through. Our thinking effects our inner attitudes, outer moods, motives and actions. When we think about something, we reflect it on others. Our thinking is transparent in our lives and it not only convinces us of things, it convinces others in ways we could not even begin to imagine. Our thinking matters, it is not just about us and that is why we must discipline our mind thoughts, because what we are thinking it will eventually affect others around us. Think about what your thoughts have convinced you of, because that conviction is contagious. Is it a good conviction or bad opinion? Because either way, you are a replication of your thoughts.

Then the people of Israel were convinced that the Lord had sent Moses and Aaron. When they heard that the Lord was concerned about them and had seen their misery, they bowed down and worshiped. Exodus 4:31 The Voice

Convinced = Contending For Truth

“When we believe lies, our minds can actually limit us and even keep us from doing what God created us to do. But, if we will contend for the truth, embrace the truth, and build our lives upon the truth, we will succeed in every endeavor.” Author~Joyce Meyer

The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too. Genesis 3:6 New Living Translation

Convinced = Convinced Negatively = Imminent Failure

People whose thoughts have convinced them they can never do anything right tend to make more mistakes than normal and have a high rate of failure. Author~Joyce Meyer

They began their faith journey because of the testimony of the woman beside the well; but when they heard for themselves, they were convinced the One they were hearing was and is God’s Anointed, the Liberating King, sent to rescue the entire world. John 4:42

Convinced Minds = Influence

Our lives, what we say, what we do influences the thought life of others and will either point them to Jesus or away from His Kingdom. What we think matters, because out of our thoughts will spring the issues of our lives. People are watching us and listening to every word we say, we are convincing them, influencing them, swaying them into God’s way or our enemies way. Which one?

Water It! Influence Your Mind Thoughts With This Wisdom.

I believe that the Word of God waters our soul in the goodness and truth of God and out of that grows a good response to the people and situations of our lives. When we are well watered with the Word of God, we bloom in right living. Water Your Heart With This:

Convinced Minds = No Confusion – No Anxiety

Don’t be anxious about things; instead, pray. Pray about everything. He longs to hear your requests, so talk to God about your needs and be thankful for what has come. And know that the peace of God (a peace that is beyond any and all of our human understanding) will stand watch over your hearts and minds in Jesus, the Anointed One. Finally, brothers and sisters, fill your minds with beauty and truth. Meditate on whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is good, whatever is virtuous and praiseworthy.
Philippians 4:6-8 The Voice

Convinced Minds = Transformed Minds

Do not allow this world to mold you in its own image. Instead, be transformed from the inside out by renewing your mind. As a result, you will be able to discern what God wills and whatever God finds good, pleasing, and complete.
Romans 12:2 The Voice

Convinced Minds = Good Or Bad Words

A tree is identified by its fruit. If a tree is good, its fruit will be good. If a tree is bad, its fruit will be bad. You brood of snakes! How could evil men like you speak what is good and right? For whatever is in your heart determines what you say. A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak. The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.
Matthew 12:33-37

Living It Out!

Convinced Minds = Good Or Bad Words

People say things about you that are not true. You can’t form your thoughts in accordance to what people think, you must form them in agreement to what God thinks and everything else you need to toss out of your thinking. Your life is not about what people think, but all about being obedient to God. Our measurement of thought comes from His Word, comes from His Holy Spirit. God loves us. God created us uniquely for a special purpose. Think on this. This scripture shows you how Paul lived this out. He confronted what people thought about him with the truth of God and He lived out of what God thought of him and what God had called Him too. He did not lean his life into the direction of the thoughts of others, He leaned into God’s Sovereign sway, into God’s thoughts.

I, Paul, appeal to you in the same gentle and loving spirit of the Anointed—yes, I who am humble when I’m face-to-face with you but audacious to you in these letters when I’m away (I know what they say). If it were up to me, I’d rather not have to be so bold when I’m with you, especially with the kind of forceful confidence I can work up when I confront those who have accused us of walking in a worldly way. For though we walk in the world, we do not fight according to this world’s rules of warfare. The weapons of the war we’re fighting are not of this world but are powered by God and effective at tearing down the strongholds erected against His truth. We are demolishing arguments and ideas, every high-and-mighty philosophy that pits itself against the knowledge of the one true God. We are taking prisoners of every thought, every emotion, and subduing them into obedience to the Anointed One. As soon as you choose obedience, we stand ready to punish every act of disobedience. Look at what is going on right in front of you. If anyone is convinced that he belongs to the Anointed, then he should think again; even if he belongs to Him, so do we. I’m not embarrassed, even if it seems to others I have gone overboard in speaking about the power the Lord has given us to edify and encourage you and not to destroy anyone who strays. I don’t want it to seem as if I’m simply trying to scare you with my letters; they are not hollow. For some people are saying, “Paul’s letters sound authoritative and strong, but in person he just doesn’t measure up—even his speeches don’t deliver.” They need to understand this: whatever we say through our letters when we are away, that is exactly what we will do when we are looking you in the eye. For we would never dare to compare ourselves with people who have based their worth on self-commendation. They check themselves against and compare themselves with one another. It just shows that they don’t have any sense! So we will carefully limit our boasting to the extent only of what God has done in and through us, a reach that extends as far as you. For it wasn’t as if we were overreaching into someone else’s territory by reaching out to you. Weren’t we the first ones to bring you the good news of the Anointed One? We carefully put limits on our boasting and avoid taking credit for what others do. But we do hope to see your faith grow so that we can watch our mission really expand all the way to the limits God has set for us. The Voice 2 Corinthians 10:1-15

Thinking about the truth is not wishful thinking. Truth is the most stable, reliable, unchanging, constant, unwavering, steadfast, unfailing, trustworthy, dependable, consistent, unswerving thing we can ever think on.
