Just A Thought
This is My covenant promise to them: My Spirit, which rests on and moves in you, and My words, which I have placed within you, will continue to be spoken among you and move you to action. Isaiah 59:21
Consequences Of Sin Are Far Reaching!
We don’t sin alone. The consequences of our sin reach everyone around us and we all hurt at times as we suffer through them. Yes, sometimes the consequences of our sin truly weigh us and others down and we cry out to God, we pray for a miracle, we pray for the consequences to be lifted. We don’t understand at times that when we pray for a miracle, Jesus, He is our miracle, His Holy Spirit in us, gifting us, guiding us! We are so blessed to be HIS, to be given a future and a hope in Him. His purposes are constantly in play in our lives, in our consequences. We don’t see them, but they are working out His goodness, step by step, purpose by purpose. God is constantly working in us, finishing what He started in us, just as HE promised. AWE-GOD!
God Is With Us – Always!
God can’t promise us that we won’t suffer from the consequences of our sin, those choices we make that take us away from His Ways and open the door for the enemy to make things in our lives very hard. BUT, He does promise as we return to HIM, wholly-holy, giving our lives to Him, HE will be with us in that special way of HIS, He will help us “grow through” and His mercy and His grace will transform us in ways this world could never do and cause us to bear with the consequences that His Mercy purposefully does not erase. Sometimes God will leave a consequence for us to learn by and sometimes His mercy will miraculously lift the consequence of our sin, even if we don’t deserve it, He will take it away, but all the time, He is purposefully working in our lives and knows what is best for us. The one thing we can be sure of whether He lifts the consequence or we have to endure it, He is with us, ALWAYS!
We Are Never Without The Purposes Of God!
God’s purposes are always, constantly in play in our lives, we are never without them, we are never without HIM. The Holy Spirit in us is always working out our salvation in all the God adventures we are having and it is always worked out for our good. GOD promised us, He would finish what He started in us and His purposes, they intentionally do so! It doesn’t matter if we are suffering and growing through the consequences of our wrong choices, what matters is that doesn’t stop the purposes of God that are in play in our lives from creating inner good, God characteristics that are everlasting! Always! Consequences that are not lifted by God, hurt! Yet He does not leave us to bear them alone or without hope that the God purposes in play in our life are working good! Always!
Do not gloat at my fate, my enemy; although I am down now, I will rise up. Although I am in darkness now, the Eternal One will be my light. I must bear His anger because I have sinned against Him until He argues on my behalf and rights all my wrongs. He will bring me out into the light, and then I will see His saving justice. Thoughts come and go, but when the Holy Spirit speaks, they are highlighted by our human senses and they are the beginning of a transformation of our soul, that paints a God characteristic on our spirit that remains forever.
