Today Is The Day

This Is The Day God Has Made For Me, I Will Rejoice And Be Glad In It!

Preparation – Endurance -Honor

Psalm 85:11

Truth will spring from the earth like a plant, and justice will look down from the sky.

A Constant Conversation With God

I enjoy a constant conversation with God every day. There are no compartments of my life that He is not in, that He is not speaking, leading, teaching and loving me. This is my personal journal where I keep some of the conversations that I have with God all day long! It is kind of sloppy, but I guess that is okay for this post because it is very personal, genuine and a place where I put some truly heart changing things for me. The spelling and grammar won’t be right and the format will be pretty crazy, but please overlook it for these posts. I will apologize right now. I am sorry it is not perfect. Everything usually ends up in my personal journal, it is sloppy and fun and I love the heavenly hindsight it provides. I am going to share with you today, a few conversation pieces I had with God during the week. I know you will enjoy it and be blessed by it and I pray the Holy Spirit speaks to you through one of my constant conversations with Him.

Jeremiah 9:23-24 Eternal One: Let not the wise boast in their wisdom, nor the mighty in their strength, nor the rich in their wealth. Whoever boasts must boast in this: that he understands and knows Me. Indeed, I am the Eternal One who acts faithfully and exercises justice and righteousness on earth. These are the things that delight Me. The Voice

Worship Is Our Soul Manna!

We need solid ground under our feet in these shaky times we live in. In this world our human culture is changing so rapidly away from God that our souls are unstable. We need solid ground to stand on. We need to stand in Christ alone.

Prayer/ Mentoring Exhortations By KimberlyMac

God is bringing increase in you, He is fleshing out unbelief, fear, worry, anxiety and building a strong foundation of faith, belief and trust in you. He is shaping you right now. It is not about the symptoms of your body, it is about the shaping of your inner heart. A faith increase, this is the miraculous work God wants to do in you. Get your eyes off the symptoms, they do not matter to God, it is the shaping He is doing on the inside of you that matters to Him most right now.

Many are the trials of the righteous, but HE delivers them out of them all. Psalm 34:19

God is calling you to go out deeper in the water, He is calling you to a new place of trust, faith and belief, a deeper intercession, a deeper relationship with Him. Make the adjustments in your spiritual life as He directs, listen up because He is speaking. Don’t listen for the symptoms or look for the symptoms of your body, listen up to the One Who is healing you and shaping your spirit, fleshing out the Dread-Worry and increasing your faith.

You see, in the good news, God’s restorative justice is revealed. And as we will see, it begins with and ends in faith. As the Scripture declares, “By faith the just will obtain life.” Romans 1:17

Feeding My Soul With God’s Word And Music

Does Everything Seem Confusingly Unclear? Got Soul Chaos? Constantly Worried? Dreading Tomorrow? Mind Cluttered In Fearful Thoughts?

Don’t be anxious about things; instead, pray. Pray about everything. He longs to hear your requests, so talk to God about your needs and be thankful for what has come. And know that the peace of God (a peace that is beyond any and all of our human understanding) will stand watch over your hearts and minds in Jesus, the Anointed One. Philippians 4:6-7 VOICE

Harvest Prayer Ministry

Our hearts are so desperately wicked. We need to “flesh out” our sin and “truth in” God’s way, truth and life. Listen Up:

“Is there sin in your life so deep that you believe that the Lord cannot use you ever again? Confess it to the Lord right now. Ask Him by divine appointment to buy back the broken threads of your despair and to weave them into a magnificent calling that surpasses anything you could ever have imagined. Don’t say, “It’s impossible.” ask Him to redeem. Use whatever language you can. Let Him redeem.” Author~ David Chotka

“Abba Father, sometimes I feel so unworthy of Your holy calling on my life. Examine my heart and reveal anything that is unclean or keeping me from fulfilling the dreams I have to impact Your kingdom with my life. Give me strength to confess and turn from those things that displease You. Redeem me from all that holds me to evil things, to damaging habits, or to undesirable relationships. Cleanse me from all unrighteousness and renew me from the inside out. Call me to Your purposes once again! In Jesus’ Name I ask this!” Harvest Prayer Ministry –Adapted from Power Praying by David Chotka.

A Great Thought Today To Stir Up Our AWE-GOD Gratitude.

“It is interesting that when God wanted to use someone to minister to Saul, He didn’t call an apostle like Peter or John. He called an ordinary man. Ananias didn’t write any book of the New Testament, raise a dead person back to life, or give a notable sermon that we know of. But he did, by faith, take a man under his wing who would do all of the above and far more. Ananias discipled the newly converted Saul who, in time, became the legendary apostle Paul and probably the greatest preacher in the history of the church. Thank God for the Ananiases of the kingdom, those who faithfully work behind the scenes to make such a difference in our lives. They may be unknown to man, but they are beloved of God.” Author~Greg Laurie

Operation Prayer Encouragement

As members of the #Military family community there is so much we can “worry” about… let’s not even go there! Taking our worries and flipping them to prayer, does increase our faith and the cool thing about a faith increase is that with it comes a peace increase. We need the peace of God to think correctly in the middle of chaos and chaos is something we learn to “grow through” as a military family member. Today say YES to Peace and NO to Worry. God bless you MUCH!

Isaiah 30:15 Listen! The Lord, the Eternal, the Holy One of Israel says, Eternal One: In returning and rest, you will be saved. In quietness and trust you will find strength. God invites His people to lean only on Him. If they will just stop their busyness and self-reliance, God will be able to take care of them. But you refused.

“The Hebrew word for Egypt is Mitzrayim, which literally means “narrow place” or “place of restriction.” The Hebrew word for Pharaoh, Paroah, can be rearranged to spell po ra, which means “here is evil.” Egypt and Pharaoh are universal and eternal themes that present themselves in the lives of every human being. We all go through difficult times — times of pressure, oppression, and evil. And we all experience our own personal salvation from God. Where have you experienced your own Egypt? What narrow straits has God saved you from? God has come through for us in the past and He will do so again in the future. Just as God heard the prayers of Israel, He will hear our prayers. Just as God intervened on behalf of Israel in Moses’ time, He will do so in our lives.” Author~ Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein.

Christine Caine Devotional

1 Corinthians 11:1 So imitate me, watch my ways, follow my example, just as I, too, always seek to imitate the Anointed One. The Voice

“Being imitators of Christ is something that stems from the inner core of our being. This occurs when who we are on the inside begins to be transformed as we become more like him and have his heart and mind. The internal change in turn is reflected in the way we speak, think, and act.” Author Christine Caine

“Think about Jesus: His actions stemmed from who he was. The doing part flowed naturally from Jesus being authentically Jesus. This being stemmed from his spiritual core. In other words, Jesus did not try to act like anything he was not. Therefore, if we are to be imitators of Christ, we need to stop trying to act like Christians (external actions) and instead focus on being a Christian at our core (internal transformation). When this becomes our focus, we will discover that it’s not difficult to act like a Christian, because we simply will be one. Period.” Author~Christine Caine

Judges 19:1-20:48

Brian Hardin Commentary: “In the book of Judges we see one of the most disturbing stories in the bible. There is no one unaffected by something like this. A horrible story found in the Bible of rape, murder and civil war, how do we handle this? Why God where is the redemption in this? We put our assumptions on the Bible and we create God in our own image sometimes. The Bible is telling what happened and leaving it there for us to explore. Concubine, a common law wife who is not faithful. This one choice of this woman, none of what happened would have happened if that had not happened. Small backwater village is a man, not an important person, has a common law wife and this decision causes all of this rape, murder and civil war to come. Whatever happened between two people did matter. The choices of the man and women led to the death of 40 thousand people. We can be revolted by a story like this, we are supposed to be. The Bible did not put the story in there for propaganda, this is a dark moment. It is in the Bible because nothing like this has ever happened, the Bible is being true, this is what happened. A whole tribe of Israel has been wiped out and it all started with one insignificant choice. Our choices matter a lot. We are interconnected and sometimes seemingly insignificant things compound into craziness into our lives. Small seemingly insignificant choices, they matter. We need Jesus. Before we react and take the offense that plants itself and become a weed in our lives. We are collaborating with God and creating the world and cultures we reside in. Everything matters. We can bring about some pretty horrible things with the choices we make, or we can commission the Kingdom. So often we are so very self-absorbed and the choices we make are for our comfort and pleasure. We make choices without taking in account who else is being affected. Jesus we invite you into all of this, we predetermine and slow things down not reacting to anything, we are involving You. Jesus us not to react out of our flesh, help us involve You and realize the weightiness of the choices we make.” Commentary On Judges By Brian Hardin Daily Audio Bible

Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein

Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” — Exodus 14:13–14

“Things only seem hopeless when we make the mistake of thinking that we are in control. If we can’t do it, then it simply can’t be done – there is no hope. The doctor can’t operate – so healing won’t come. I don’t earn enough money – so I’ll never get out of debt. When we are so sure that we alone hold the keys to our salvation, it’s no wonder that so many doors seem closed. It’s only when we give those keys to God that miracles can happen and hope can be found.” Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein

“Don’t surrender to life; surrender to God. Don’t give up hope; place your hope in God. Take comfort and encouragement from the words of Moses to the Israelites in their most desperate moment: “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today . . . The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein

Romans 12:12 Do not forget to rejoice, for hope is always just around the corner. Hold up through the hard times that are coming, and devote yourselves to prayer. The Voice

We exalt You, oh Lord! There is no one like You! Your Kingdom is filled with blessings for those who reside in its culture. We may not understand the paradoxes of Your eternal truths, but we will immerse ourselves in Your Kingdom culture, in the place where Your Presence dwells. Transform our character to reflect Your Word as we center our daily life on You. Amen!

My Thoughts: Jesus give us a Kingdom Perspective today that trumps our worldly viewpoint and causes us to walk with an active, courageous, bold faith.

Joycelyn Green Excerpt From Book “Faith Deployed”

“Paul lists the sins of gossip and slander among the sins of murder and malice in Romans 1:28-32; they are to be taken very seriously. The problem is that gossip is so easy to do so often. Dear Lord, help me this week to more closely examine my conversations. Search my heart and show me any impure motives for spreading gossip. Give me the wisdom and courage to stop it when I hear it. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

DAILY AUDIO BIBLE WITH BRIAN HARDIN

John 3:11-21: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John+3%3A11-21&version=VOICE

Brian Hardin Commentary

Nicodemus is a Pharisee, a religious leader. He is seeking out Jesus because He can see that Jesus has the spirit of God in Him and He has seen the signs that proved this. The people were drawn to Him and this made Nicodemus want to know more. The Kingdom of God is different than a governing system on planet earth. What you are looking for in a Messiah is found in the spirit. The wind blows where it pleases, you can hear it, you don’t know where it came from, and you don’t know where it is going. You can’t make this into a formula with surrounding traditions. This is deeper. Get used to the reality of the spirit, beyond your physical senses. What kind of freedom would it be if our identity was no longer wrapped up in what people think of us and we come clean before God? Jesus came so we could be true, whole, and clean. Our Christian subculture almost forces us to stay in the dark because of the repercussions of confession. How am I forcing people into the dark? How am I being judgemental? How is the weight of my life on another person making the feel as if they can’t be true? There is no way to be true without the light of God. Live by the truth, come to the Light of God, and let your works be accomplished by God. What would life look like if we were not hiding anything, just true before God? Commentary By Brian Hardin Daily Audio Bible

Miraculous Musings Of KimberlyMac

Martha and Mary! “Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to his teaching. But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.” But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:38-42 ESV

I had a treat and water for my dog Maverick after a long 3 mile walk. I never used to do that. I used to just walk and then go back home to do my work. But, I am learning to make my day better by taking some soul refreshing moments. Yes, I walk daily to try to stay on shape and now yes, I take a few moments under a tree and soul soak in the rest and beauty of God. I confess I have been too much of a Martha and now I am getting some Mary back in me. Awe-God.

James 1:5 If you don’t have all the wisdom needed for this journey, then all you have to do is ask God for it; and God will grant all that you need. He gives lavishly and never scolds you for asking. The Voice

The storms come into our lives and leave behind big sloppy mud holes. We think “will things ever look normal again”? What we don’t see is God purposes still flowing and even in the muddy times of life, they are there working for our good. God will give us wisdom even in the mud hole times of our lives, He is there to guide us through, all we have to do is ask. God’s wisdom is always there for us. Just Ask

“Go in peace. The Lord is watching over the journey you are going on.” Judges 8:6
