A Constant Conversation With God

A constant conversation with God is going on all the time between His people and Him. I have a personal journal, I have kept it for years and I have to admit it is sloppy and I like it that way. It has lots of mixed fonts and colors, a bloggers nightmare with no grammar allowed. I try to give it a little bit of structure with headliners, but that is about it. LOL! (Laugh Out Loud) Yes this is a totally uncut-unedited version of my relationship with God. Every bit of conversation I have with God, in all kinds of forms goes into this journal. This is what I share with you today, my constant conversation with God. I will share some scriptures the Holy Spirit used in my life and of course my growing up in response to them. My journal is never complete without music, so I share some of my favorite songs that God brought into my hearing this week. Yes, these constant conversations I have with God, they come in various ways through many different people and intersect with my life, impacting me in my faith, growing and learning as His. So without further yacking, here are some of
the bits and pieces of my conversations with God, nothing matches and all the fonts are different, but one simply-significantly common denominator is not missing and that is, God is speaking. So enjoy and let the Holy Spirit speak to you through one of my constant conversations with Him.

Feeding My Soul With God Anointed Christian Music

Christian music is definitely a way that I hear from God, it is a sweet conversation and I love how creatively God gives special talent to people, speaking His songs through their hearts to us. I will listen to a song and not only listen with my ears, but listen with my heart and God speaks to me through music. I know He can teach me, encourage me, heal me, guide me and give me great soul peace through His music. I know because He has. Listen to this song called: “Someone Worth Dying For By MikesChair”

My Thoughts: I am someone worthy dying for. God thinks I am beautiful. I need to believe it because Jesus believed it and He died for me. Things may seem hopeless right now but they are not, because my life has purpose. Don’t let hopelessness derail you, just believe in Jesus and His choice for you.

Bible Reading And Miraculously Musing

Isaiah 50:10-11
Who is among you who reverently fears the Lord, who obeys the voice of His Servant, yet who walks in darkness and deep trouble and has no shining splendor [in his heart]? Let him rely on, trust in, and be confident in the name of the Lord, and let him lean upon and be supported by his God. Behold, all you enemies of your own selves who attempt to kindle your own fires and work out your own plans of salvation, who surround and gird yourselves with momentary sparks, darts, and firebrands that you set aflame!—walk by the light of your self-made fire and of the sparks that you have kindled for yourself, if you will! But this shall you have from My hand: you shall lie down in grief and in torment.

My Thoughts: This Isaiah 50:10-11 is truth we can’t afford to ignore. Don’t kindle a man-made fire and walk by the light of it, it will flame out. Go LIGHT your world with the everlasting LIGHT of Jesus Christ, Who is aflame in your heart with an unstoppable brilliance! Jesus will make us a beacon in the darkest of times as we focus on Him and He will keep us balanced with this truth. Our human condition causes us to kindle man made fires. This means that we try to do things in our own strength, we walk by the light of our own fire. God wants us to walk with Him because it is in His Light that we are aflame with a passion that does not ever go out. God has called us to light up our world with an everlasting life, the life of Jesus Christ, the very life aflame in our heart and soul and to do so with His unstoppable brilliance. I pray this will be so in us.

Jeremiah 33:6

I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.

A Minute With Maxwell

Dr Maxwell is given a word and He speaks on it extemporaneously. Resurrection was the word he spoke on today, the notes I took were these:

“The resurrection of Christ, the greatest thing in our lives, ever. Resurrection of friendship. Something that wasn’t doing well, even dead, now has come back to life. We all want this. We want to achieve in our difficult areas, have a resurrection and reach the potential we need to reach.”

My Thoughts About What Dr. Maxwell Said:

Sometimes my attitudes are just full of dead thoughts that weigh down my potential to reach the goals set before me. I need a resurrection of my attitudes in order to be successful. This for me comes from the Word of God. It is powerful and it cuts through the dead letter thoughts that have attached themselves and encumbered my soul. God’s Word divides asunder with a miraculous edge and pierces my spirit with a resurrection of hope, leaving a presence of peace that surpasses what I know, and giving me the strength to believe and trust in what I don’t see. A resurrected attitude shakes off the bundles of dead dreams and gives me a new spring in my gait as I step out knowing that the purposes of God are in play in my life for my good and I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me. The resurrection of Christ Jesus was the greatest thing ever in our lives because it is infinitely reciprocal in the all of our finite. Yes, even our inner attitudes can be renewed by resurrection of hope in God! Been there, seen it! Have a great day!

Quotes To Glean God’s Wisdom And Love

I read a lot of quotes just to glean what God is saying to others and to learn from them.

“Who knoweth not that not a sparrow falleth to the ground without your Father? Even the hairs of your head are all numbered. God weighs the mountains of our grief in scales, and the hills of our tribulation in balances. And shall there be a God in providence and not in grace? Shall the shell be ordained by wisdom and the kernel be left to blind chance? No; he knows the end from the beginning.” Author~Charles Spurgeon #Grief #Trust #Trials

“Sadly, the most important influence of all never seems to end up on the cover of magazines or featured on popular TV shows. It is spiritual influence — the ability of one person to impact another human being’s character, relationship with God, and even their immortal soul. Every follower of Jesus has been blessed with people in their life who have exercised positive spiritual influence. And, likewise, every Christian should also be using their God-given spiritual influence to impact the lives of others.” Author~ John Ortberg #Influences #Relationship #Character

“I must be watchful in religious exercises lest they become unprofitable to me; I fear I have lost much already–O that I may rightly estimate my opportunities, and glean with greater diligence. The gleaner stoops for all she finds, and so must I. High spirits criticize and object, but lowly minds glean and receive benefit. A humble heart is a great help towards profitably hearing the gospel. The engrafted soul-saving word is not received except with meekness.” Author~Charles Spurgeon #Tradition #Humility #Meekness

My Thoughts: When we are not happy with our circumstances and we complain are we criticizing God’s purposes? We should glean everything we can out of every situation and this only happens if our humility has trumped our pride.

“Changing habits is easier if they are replaced with a better alternative. For example, eating unhealthy snacks is a harmful habit that can be changed. So we may replace chips and salsa with carrots and hummus. Maybe our speech needs to default to a more positive approach as we relate to people. Pointing out the negatives is substituted by affirming their positive character traits and potential. We form the habit of speaking words of encouragement.” Author~Boyd Bailey #Habits #Unhealthy #Speech #Encouragement

Miraculous Musings Of KimberlyMac

Miraculous Musings Is A Place In My Journal Where I Share My Feelings In The Light Of God’s Truth. I Share With God And Then I Listen To Him And Then I Write What I Feel He Is Teaching Me.

“Loneliness…I understand that feeling more than you know, but it is in those times of feeling lonely that God purpose is in play and we grow through because we felt something we could not control and we turned and fully faced GOD and HE shows us His ruler ship in our lives. Loneliness, purposefully so opens our hearts fully to God and we experience through the feelings of loneliness that God is enough. This season of life has been one of loneliness. I am backed up against it and can’t seem to move away from it in any direction, in front of me I see the enemy of despair, discouragement, disillusionment, depression coming for me, charging forward with the intent of stealing, killing and destroying my joy, which for me is my life-strength in Christ. I am waiting by the sea of loneliness, backed up against it with no way out and my enemy is advancing toward me. I am waiting and hoping for my Way-Maker God to do it again, part the waters, so I may walk to a new life season, victoriously because of Him.”

The Lord Will Fight For You, And You Shall Hold Your Peace And Remain At Rest.vWhy Do You Cry To Me? Tell The People To Go Forward!vLift Up Your Rod And Stretch Out Your Hand Over The Sea And Divide It. They Shall Go On Dry Ground Through The Midst Of The Sea! Exodus 14

“Loneliness purposefully teaches us how to be content in all things, in all situations and in all seasons of life and this learning of contentment greatly benefits us, because that which is learned by experience is easily taught from the heart and passed on from person to person. Loneliness is a gift, we see it differently because of our worldly viewpoint, but as we open our eyes with a Kingdom Perspective and see with heavenly hindsight, we see our greatest spiritual growths were accompanied by the feelings of loneliness that drove us to a completely open hearted posture before God.”

1 Samuel 16:7

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

Each of us needs to learn – even if the lesson is painful – that our work doesn’t belong to us. Quote By: David Wilkerson

Angel Ministries By Anne Graham Lotz

This is one of the emails I am subscribed to daily that really blesses me.

Jesus promised His disciples that when He went to heaven, He would ask His Father to send down to earth “Another.” One Who would have His same mind, will, emotions, and intellect. Jesus called Him the Counselor (John 14:16), because He is readily available to give us wisdom for our decisions, direction for our future, insight into our problems, and management for our responsibilities. Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world (this age), fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs, but be transformed (changed) by the entire renewal of your mind, by its new ideals and its new attitude, so that you may prove for yourselves what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect in His sight for you.

Daily Audio Bible By Brian Hardin

The Daily Audio Bible is really fun. I get it from biblegateway email. The first year I went through the whole thing, this year it is hit and miss. I truly love the heart and spirit of Brian Hardin and I love his commentary, it is inspiring, here are some notes from it.

Brian Hardin Commentary Daily Audio Bible

We make judgements based on what God has told us, we should not judge those who don’t share our same conviction. The problem is when we decide that we are the Lord. The Lord wants a personal relationship with each one of us, a unique, exclusive relationship. The way He relates to someone else is something that fits their story, their calling. We are created uniquely, cell by cell. God knows the hairs on our heads. God is interested in His creation, interested in us personally. God is transforming us and each story, life by life is different. We can’t put what God is doing in us on everyone else. So often we do not have grace and mercy for each other, the kind of mercy extended toward us by Jesus. Why do we judge others and treat them with contempt? Everyone will stand before God individually. Are we acting in love or is it more about the rules and the control? We may have freedoms that someone else does not have because they are not an issue in your story. But the freedom you take in your life could cause someone else to stumble. Everything is predicated upon a unique, exclusive relationship with God that is conversational in nature and intimate as we look through His eyes at all around us. Spend less time trying to figure out the rules and impose them on others and more time developing a deep, personal intimacy with our Creator. We get pulled to the surface of things when you are at the Core of them. If we follow the formula do we have a relationship? This is not how it works. We have passed judgement that is unneeded and not helpful. Help us God, we are here to bring Your Love, which is the most powerful thing! Brian Hardin

My Thoughts: This song really reminds me to never be too busy that I can’t take a heart to heart worship break with God. It is good for my soul to look up to AWE-GOD with a respectful-reverent love in my eyes and connect with Him spirit to spirit with His love and truth! Are you with me? Let’s do it! Dwell in God’s Presence for a moment and deeply realize that we are dwelling in the shelter of the Most High God and in the beauty of His Presence. We never have to be afraid when we trust God.

Hello H.E.L.D. Group This Is The Day God Has Made For #ThursdayThoughtfulness!

Be thoughtful today about the people God has put in your life path and think before you speak judgement about someone, be thoughtful towards others as you live out the life of Christ in you today!

Romans 14: 13 Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister. 14 I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean. 15 If your brother or sister is distressed because of what you eat, you are no longer acting in love. Do not by your eating destroy someone for whom Christ died. 16 Therefore do not let what you know is good be spoken of as evil. 17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, 18 because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval. 19 Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.

Our lives are not lived for or about people what people think! When we live for an Audience of ONE, for and unto #Jesus, our human expectations fall to the ground. When we live for Jesus, Wholly-Holy for Him, we don’t try so hard to change ourselves to reflect the opinions of others, we don’t try to change others according to our personal viewpoint or assumptions and we become #ThursdayThoughtful people!

#ThursdayThoughtful #HELD We can’t change someone by words or willpower, BUT Jesus can change them by the power of His Holy Spirit! The Name of Jesus is a strong tower, He is the Lord of all and everything!

Romans 12:3 Because of the kindness that God has shown me, I ask you not to think of yourselves more highly than you should. Instead, your thoughts should lead you to use good judgment based on what God has given each of you as believers. GWT

#HELD #ThursdayThoughtfulness

Philippians 2:3-4 Do nothing from factional motives through contentiousness, strife, selfishness, or for unworthy ends or prompted by conceit and empty arrogance. Instead, in the true spirit of humility, lowliness of mind, let each regard the others as better than and superior to himself, thinking more highly of one another than you do of yourselves. 4 Let each of you esteem and look upon and be concerned for not merelyhis own interests, but also each for the interests of others.

#HELD #ThursdayThoughtfulness

Any Thoughts On This Scripture With How We Can Be More Thoughtful Towards Others?

#ThursdayThoughtfulness Be a person committed to being encouraging! Step outside of yourself and break the isolation by caring and sharing with others. Is caring difficult because of what you have been through? So many people are in seasons of waiting and they are tired and the waiting is getting old. Encouragement brings new life and endurance to others. God is with you! You are not alone! These are encouraging words to share today. Reach Out To Others! Share – Comment – Like! #HELD

My Thoughts: Sometimes we have to wait and wait and wait and sometimes it gets just plain old tired and old. Does waiting make you feel isolated, you are not alone. In fact, you are not alone anywhere you go, God is with you. It can be very difficult to trust because of the hard things we are growing through. We are not alone. We don’t get an easy answer to these difficult life trials, but we are not alone. We should reach out, reach up to God, because we won’t find a satisfying solution in ourselves, but one thing remains totally true, we are not alone and what we can’t find in ourselves, we can find in God. He is our solution. Written By KimberlyMac

Isaiah 54:17

But no instrument forged against you will be allowed to hurt you, and no voice raised to condemn you will successfully prosecute you. It’s that simple; this is how it will be for the servants of the Eternal; I will vindicate them. The Voice

Quotes To Glean God’s Wisdom And Love

“The longer you delay, the more your sin gets strength and rooting. If you cannot bend a twig, how will you be able to bend it when it is a tree?” — Richard Baxter

Like a meandering river, we normally make our way through life not knowing for certain what’s around the next bend, but we keep believing in the goodness of God to guide us. We plan and trust God’s hand to point us in the right direction. Boyd Bailey

A Minute With Maxwell

“Strategy is the proven way to get somewhere quickly and successfully! Strategy is thinking through, what gives me the best return, best result and then becoming strategic and finding the best way to get to the destination you desire!” Author~John Maxwell

My Thoughts: The Core Of My Strategy Is Followship! I follow hard after God, and I allow Him to be My Way-Maker, this is a life strategy that is amazing and miraculously so, in ways I could not even begin to imagine, every objective is achieved!

Daily Bible Audio By Brian Hardin

2 Chronicles 26:1-28:27; Romans 13:1-14; Psalms 23:1-6; Proverbs 20:11 (New International Version)

But after Uzziah became powerful, his pride led to his downfall. He was unfaithful to the LORD his God, and entered the temple of the LORD to burn incense on the altar of incense. 17 Azariah the priest with eighty other courageous priests of the LORD followed him in. 18 They confronted King Uzziah and said, “It is not right for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to the LORD. That is for the priests, the descendants of Aaron, who have been consecrated to burn incense. Leave the sanctuary, for you have been unfaithful; and you will not be honored by the LORD God.” #BewareofPride

Jotham grew powerful because he walked steadfastly before the LORD his God. 2 Chron. 27 #Faithfulness to God is a powerful way to live. The LORD had humbled Judah because of Ahaz king of Israel, for he had promoted wickedness in Judah and had been most unfaithful to the LORD. 2 Chron.27

My Thought: The consequences of the sin of our leaders will touch all of our lives. There is no doubt about it. No one sins alone and a lot of our suffering is because of the consequences of others choices brought into our lives.

Romans 13:1-3 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

My Thought: God purposefully allows things that we don’t understand, but we know His Purposes are always in play and that He has an endgame. He uses all things to “grow us” toward that endgame! Are you going through the things you don’t understand or “growing through”?

Romans 13: 8 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. 9 The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

Feeding My Soul With God Anointed Christian Music

Yet In The Darkness By Heidi King

Jesus Savior, Healer, Redeemer Of Our Soul, Only You Can Make Our Spirit Whole!

My Prayer: Lord Jesus reveal Your power through our dark situations. Cause us to sing in the darkness and even though our eyes can’t see, we will praise You. Lord Jesus, we praise You in advance for the victory, it is so sweet that even in the darkness we can sing. No matter how dark our life situations get, we still sing, our hearts are filled with praise to You. We will praise you in the darkness, even though our eyes can’t see the victory, we still praise You for it. You are with us Lord Jesus, You are holding us in Your mighty, powerful, healing, hopeful, peaceful hands. No matter what comes our way, we wait for the victory and we praise you, Jesus. Always.

1 Corinthians 13:9-12 For our knowledge is fragmentary, incomplete and imperfect, and our prophecy, our teaching is fragmentary, incomplete and imperfect. 10 But when the complete and perfect (total) comes, the incomplete and imperfect will vanish away, become antiquated, void, and superseded. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; now that I have become a man, I am done with childish ways and have put them aside. 12 For now we are looking in a mirror that gives only a dim, blurred reflection, of reality as in a riddle or enigma, but then when perfection comes, we shall see in reality and face to face! Now I know in part imperfectly, but then I shall know and understand fully and clearly, even in the same manner as I have been fully and clearly known and understood by God.

Amplified Bible (AMP)

My Thoughts: Sometimes we go through really “dark” times and we can’t see, we can’t see a way out, we can’t see ahead, yet even in the darkness we can sing, we can praise God for the victory! He is with us, He is holding us in His Mighty Right Hand. In the great challenges we face, He has infused at the center of them, a greater Kingdom purpose! Right now, it might seem like the challenge is overwhelming us, but we can know, without a doubt, that the God Purpose in our challenge is greater than the challenge itself. God is in the darkness with us making a way out, He has a plan, it is good and that is why we sing, we praise our King, because we know whatever comes our way, He has an endgame of victory. We praise HIM in advance for this victory and in the darkness we still sing, even though our eyes can only see in part, we praise God because He sees in whole!

Prayer/ Mentoring Exortations

If you are believing for something from God and it seems impossible, never doubt that God can do anything, anyway and at any time. Keep praying, keep believing and surrender yourself in trust to our AWE-GOD. More than 30 years ago, my brother was caught with a ton of pot in the Bahamas, was jailed in a small cell given food and water for a week, it was there in that cell He gave his life to Jesus after I had prayed for him for six years.  He told the Lord that He would face his consequences and serve Him the rest of His life. He was extradited back to the United States and faced a 30 year jail sentence. The judge He got for his trial was the hardest one on first time offenders, we prayed and prayed and the Lord told my mom He would never set foot in jail, not one day, that He was going to have mercy on him. The lawyer told my mom that would never happen, she kept believing and holding on to what she heard from God. The day of the trial my brother used a character witness, a really good friend of his whose 5 year old mentally retarded child was dying in the hospital and they were afraid of death, so my brother held the child in his arms till he died. They told the judge that as their witness of my brother’s character. The judge sentenced my brother to 30 years and then at the end of the sentencing, he revoked all the jail time by his power to do so and left the felony conviction and gave him 10 years of community service. When asked why the judge did that, he said to the lawyers that he had a mentally retarded son. My brother has spent his life being totally committed to God, serving Him in every way he can.  God can do anything, at any time He wants. He is Sovereign. Living through this miracle really taught me that.   Have a great day and keep believing and trusting… God bless you.

Psalm 23 – Refresh Your Hope

The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, 3 He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. 4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. (NIV)
