Brother

God Offers Comfort to All! All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ. 2 Corinthians 1:3-5

Is God Awakening Your Heart Of Compassion For His People?

Let this heart of compassion for each other be awakened! May we be a shelter for others who are bowed low in pain. May no one around us ever suffer from loneliness, may our heart reach out and never be closed to those who need us. Wherever we find ourselves, may the glory glow of God light up every life around us, so no one is stuck in their own personal darkness. May we be shining like a light house with the Glory of God, glowing from our lives, piercing the dark night and pointing others to a safe harbor in Jesus Christ. God is speaking to us today to step out of our comfort zones with hearts filled with His compassion and lead others to His comfort zone in HIM, sheltered by the Almighty God.

Will You Invest Of Your Time To Point People Home?

So many people are wounded inside, they walk alone as restless ramblers in the wilderness, isolated and alone. Does this tug at your heart? It should! People were created to need God and to need other people. Why do we shut ourselves off emotionally from the wounded when God is our fortress and He is a LIGHT within us that points people to their home in Him? We need to share the shelter that God has brought us to and continues to provide for us, the fortress of His healing encirclement. God wants us to be willing to step out of our personal comfort zone and to go to the wounded and embrace them with the grip of His mercy and grace, leading them home to Him.

Are You Willing To Be The One Who Breaks Down The Walls Of Isolation?

God’s love brings us home and in our weakness, He shows Himself so strong. Be the ONE to light the way to those calling out in their pain, don’t close a blind eye or put up a comfort zone to block out the noise of those in pain. We are all brothers and sisters, created by the Father God, no one should be left alone, and everyone should be sheltered in the love of God. We should not be turning away from each other, we should be stirring up the God created passion inside of us and taking hands with those all around us and fully facing God together. We are not offering the wounded something that we don’t need too, we are offering them the shelter of comfort, out of our own need for God. This type of compassion, the sacrifice of giving from your own need, it is powerful in breaking down walls of isolation and bringing people together, united in our need for Christ Jesus and together receiving everything we need from the ONE Who is able to give so lavishly, so abundantly.

Is Your Heart Open Wide To Embrace The Wounded?

Are you willing to offer wounded people shelter in God’s Love that lives in your heart? Are you openhearted to other people? So many people are restlessly wandering in the wilderness of this world, if we linked with people, heart to heart, spirit to spirit, opening our heart wide to God and to others, we could be a shelter for those who are face down in the desert with a cage around their heart. God is a restoring shelter, a fortress for all of us and He is asking us in times such as these, to be the same. We are God’s sanctuary, we are the temple of God, and we can shelter others in His love and point the way Home to Him, bringing as many people as we can to HIM. Be so!

Are You A Wounded Warrior?

God designed us to be wounded warriors, to be a fortress for each other. When the enemy of our souls stir up winds of darkness, we can hover together in the shelter of God. Yes we are weak and we feel we can’t handle someone else’s weakness too, BUT we forget we are so very strong in Christ Jesus and in our weakness HE is able to show Himself miraculously so. We need to there for each other, we are kindred spirits, created by God, sharing the same human condition, the same Father God. We need to be positioned so much in our Savior, in a vital-vertical relationship with Him, that we reflect HIS Love in such a way that we attract those who need to be sheltered, who need a fortress to heal, who need to be pointed to the way of their true home, The Kingdom of God.

Does Your Heart Reach Out To Others Or Is It Caged In Comfort?

We isolate ourselves from the wounded and God wants us to embrace them. In our human weakness, we assume that we can’t handle the pain oozing out of the wounded, so we turn away from them, we turn a blind eye. Do you hear the compassion of God’s heart in this song, the desire that He has for us, His created, to find the fortress of His life and to be a shelter for each other. We don’t have to be the strong fortress, we just need to embrace people and bring them to God, for we all are weak, but in our weakness He is powerful! There are so many wounded people wandering aimlessly in the wilderness of this world, isolated by their pain, let’s not conveniently tune them out, let’s turn the traditional channel of our personal comfort off and hear their cry and be their shelter, take them in under the fortress of God Almighty and lead them to His healing, His restoration, His revival, lead them home to HIM. Lord Jesus, let it be so stir up our hearts, let us be Your Wounded Warriors, strong in You, powerful in Your Word, mighty in Your mercy and miraculous in Your strength.

I heard this song “Brother” By Needtobreathe and knew right away that it is a WAKE UP your compassion call from the Father God. I chose it as a Worship Spotlight because God has been speaking to my heart about this very thing, about how many wounded people are wandering restlessly and we need to go to those who are bowed face down in the desert of their pain and help them find their way to the Shelter of Almighty God and say to them: Welcome Home! We all can’t help but to be wounded, we live in a fallen world, but we can choose to be Wounded Warriors, Who cling to God, dig our life roots deeply in HIS Strength and Power and BE Wholly-Holy HIS Ambassadors, leading people to HIM, to HIS Kingdom. Please share this with your social media, with your friends and make a comment to show that you are stepping out of your isolated comfort zone, answering the call of God to be one of His Wounded Warriors. Please check out the rest of The Bridegroom’s Café and come here as often as you want to feed your soul. God bless you MUCH, KimberlyMac
